This longtime favorite has an oversized wand and superdark formula to give you ultra dramatic lashes. The famously big, bodacious brush coats lashes with the ultra-black formula, creating volume and thickness.
Does not live up to its hype. Mediocore mascara...does what any normal mascara would do but nothing amazing. On a bright side it doesnt flake.3
I received the sample of this mascara in my box and was very excited to try it. I normally use Dior mascara so when I used this I was a bit disappointed as it does not come close to the same volume that the Dior mascara provides. After using it twice it seemed to explode and I couldn't even use it. I don't know what happened!3
... i got flake-age. Great black mascara, delivered volume for sure, but after 4h, i had raccoon eyes (indoors) for some reason. Would keep it for a rainy day, but not my favorite.3
I tried this mascara after They're Real wouldn't keep my lashes curled. This keeps the curl but doesn't do much else that a cheap drugstore mascara can't do. Its not terrible just not worth the price. I found that it did get too think if you put multiple coats and really the only positive was it kept a curl. Back to the drawing board for me!3
I am a fan of most of the Benefit mascaras, but this was not my favorite. The brush left my lashes clumpy when I usually do not have that problem. Overall, it was just fine.3
I tried out this mascara and compared it to the "They're Real" mascara I also used... And although this one does a good job, it didnt really stand out. And it was no where near as good as the "theyre real"... The brush is too big and it doesnt do a good job of separating the lashes.
That being said. This mascara is WAY better than any drug store brand ive ever tried.
I really quite liked the formula and what it did for my lashes, but whenever I tried to wear it I ended up with raccoon eyes because it transferred and ran like CRAZY and I had enormous black rings around my under eyes. I don't know if anyone else has had similar issues, but for the money I'll pass.3
Having heard really good things about this item, I was very excited to finally try it. Needless to say, I am somewhat disappointed. It doesn't clump which is very nice, but it provides minimal coverage. It also isn't very dark (despite being black). The $6 mascara I get at CVS (various Maybelline kinds) works MUCH better.3
The big brush is nice for coating the lengths of your lashes, but makes it hard to get the lashes in the corners. The formula feels great at first (and the black is black black black), but over time, it flakes and clumps, making this mascara and wearing contacts a no-go combo.3
Switched away from this after several tubes, tired of having little black smudges around my eyes. In fairness, it was not only this brand, but I finally found one that doesn't cause this problem, and I won't go back to Bad Girls, even if I do like the name. (The one I use now is also carried by Birchbox, of course, Blinc.)4
