From hangnails to dry knuckles, your hands are subject to a whole slew of issues. Luckily, this intense salve provides long-lasting relief to delicate, over-worked hands. Formulated with over ten natural oils and plant extracts, it penetrates deep beneath your skin’s surface, revealing softer skin and revitalized cuticles. Plus, we love how all its ingredients are ethically sourced.
I've always struggled with dry hands, especially in the winter. This salve is amazing! My hands love how soft this salve leaves them and I love the excellent lemon fragrance. The only drawback is it does take a little time to soak in the oils, but it warns of that on the packaging and advises of the best time to use. I want to buy another to keep one at work and one at home now. It works SO well!5
I've lived in the upper midwest my whole life and around here, Watkins is a very familiar brand. From beauty products to cooking ingredients, Watkins sells it all. (Seriously, their vanilla extract is the best you can buy!)
They have several "balm" type products, this one, a foot one and a couple of medicated kinds. Watkins is good for man and beast alike! (seriously, they have a carbolic salve that farmers have been using on cow's udders and skin hot spots for DECADES! ..and when it's not treating your animals it's in high demand in the farm house too! for everything from heat rash to boils to cuts and dry skin!) And, good for so many things. This salve can be used on literally any part of your body that needs some extreme moisture related help. From hands, to elbows, to knees and toes, this product will help keep your skin in wonderful shape!
This product works quickly, smells nice and is absolutely worth the price. Get some and just wait to see how many different uses you come up with for it!
the lavender scent is beautiful -- so natural not like some lavender scented things that smell a little soapy. not too crazy about to texture though too greasy for me but then again thats what salve is4
I have used Burt's bee's salve in the past and found it to be a good product. I was intrigued by this product and thought I would give it a try to see if it was better than what I'm already using. This was so not the case. The product is a watery waxy consistency, which makes it a mess to get on, and once on the skin, doesn't seem to absorb at all. 10-15 minutes later I'll be finding wax streaks marking my path. The product smelled great, but that is not worth purchasing it again. Try something else!2
The salve smells light and pleasant. It warms up quickly with your fingers. It absorbs in a couple minutes and leaves behind no residue. I love it.4
I bought this for my husband as his hands tend to get really dry and cracked in the winter. He loves this stuff and his hands look very soft and youthful. His cuticles even look great. I will be buying more of this as soon as he runs out.5
This is great for the peeling skin I've recently developed on my hands. It'll keep me moisturized through the cold weather. It is a little slimier than I expected. You just have to remember to use it sparingly.3
I've used Watkins products, including their Hand & Cuticle Salve for years now & it's a must have in the medicine cabinet for sure! I am a big lemon fan, but swear by their Aloe & Green Tea scent. It's light & fresh & not at all overwhelming. This is one of those "little goes a long way" salves...too much and you risk greasiness. I love it for cried out cuticles & hang nail relief and repair, in addition to the obvious wonderment of relieving dry cracking skin. It's a great price, so pick it up and try it!!5
As much as I like thie brand. Thie product just didn't do much for me. I liked the sent. That was about it.2
Love this cuticle and hand salve. I got a manicure over a week ago and my hands are still lovely because I've been using my sample every day. I'm almost done with the tin!5
