From hangnails to dry knuckles, your hands are subject to a whole slew of issues. Luckily, this intense salve provides long-lasting relief to delicate, over-worked hands. Formulated with over ten natural oils and plant extracts, it penetrates deep beneath your skin’s surface, revealing softer skin and revitalized cuticles. Plus, we love how all its ingredients are ethically sourced.
My hands are subject to being dry even in the most ideal of conditions, which tasks me with constantly being on the hunt for products that will do the job in one application without making my hands sticky and greasy. The J.R. Watkins salve is fantastic in that it offers a healthy helping of moisturizing oils without taking a million years to soak in so I can start touching things again. The lemon scent is nice and bright but reminds me a bit too much of lemon pie and/or those little lemony Girl Scout Cookies for me to want it on my body regularly, so I think when I purchase, I'll opt for either the lavender or green tea fragrances.5
I'm a jewelry designer so my hands are always in desperate red of care. This was pretty much the holy grail of my box this month. Love.5
Love this stuff, seems a little oily at first but then it absorbs and your hands are super smooth and soft!4
I've needed a cuticle balm for some time so I was so excited for this sample! It smells so fresh and clean, the balm itself is smooth and the sample is a good amount. The only qualm I have so far is that it doesn't absorb quickly into the skin, so I'm left with oily fingertips!3
It was a great product but I have never shopped for a cuticle cream. I will use it and maybe if I get addicted to the long term benefits I will repurchase it.4
I really like J.R. Watkins now. This is the 2nd product of theirs I haved received through birchbox. I never tried their products before.5
The scent while classic is not appealing. I wish it was more of a fast acting ultra healing product. The product just fell flat...3
I really like Salves, right now I am using my burts bees one, but after that one this may be on my list to get.4
I like this hand and cuticle salve, the smell was a little weird to me but it did keep the areas that I put it on hydrated and not dry. I would rather have a lotion to put on, but I do admit that I like that I can just throw this in my purse.4
This company is pretty new to me! I was in love when I saw the product in my box and tried it on immediately. My cuticles have been pretty bad lately and it didn't seem to do much. Though, it feels like a nice, soothing product for the hands when they are dried out. However, I avoid putting it on sometimes because it is so oily and hard to touch things afterwards.3
