We desperately try to adhere to the less-is-more philosophy, and Dr. Jart's Water Fuse Beauty Balm helps us minimize our routine. A moisturizer, sunscreen, and treatment serum all-in-one, this tinted BB cream even helps hide imperfections—so there's no need for foundation or cover-up. Made with 50 percent water, the brand's Advanced Water Bead Technology helps hydrate and maintain healthy moisture for a dewy, fresh look, with additonal help from hyaluronic acid and aloe vera. Sebum-regulating ingredients keep your complexion from becoming greasy, and the broad-spectrum SPF 25+ blocks harmful UVA and UVB rays. Free of sulfates and phthalates.
I like that it covers imperfections as well as giving me a dose of SPF. I find that I still need to cover it with a loose powder to get the right coverage and color I'm used to.4
I have heard a lot about beauty balms in the last 6 months or so. They sounded like the new miracle makeup product, and I was anxious to try some. I didn't want to spend too much the product without having tried it first though, so I was thrilled to get a sample in Sept. Birchbox. I'm not sure it's the new miracle makeup, but I did like it. It's lighter then foundation but a little thicker then a tinted moisturizer. I think it would be perfect for the summer when you have a nice tan you don't want to cover up and foundation is too heavy and uncomfortable. However, it doesn't give great coverage and isn't enough by itself for my light skin with winter coming up.4
I'm always looking for ways to use less products and this is definitely a great answer to that problem! Helps even skin tone while moisturizing and providing spf. What more can you ask for?4
I wouldn't rely solely on this for sun protection, but it does a good job of hiding any skin imperfections. It's a little thicker than a normal moisturizer so it didn't feel like my skin absorbed as much, but it didn't feel dry and it seemed to keep the oiliness at bay. I will probably buy some after my sample runs out.4
When I first saw this sample in my Birchbox I thought that it was so small but I have gotten like 5 applications out of it and its still not empty! I'm still on the fence about this BB cream. Its certainly is hydrating and applies nicely to my dry skin but I'm not sure if I've crazy about the coverage. It feels so thick because of the high spf level but doesn't cover as much as I'd like it to. Overall have been enjoying it though!4
It was one the nicer BB creams that I have used. It felt light like i wasnt even wearing make up. It didnt have the "sun screen" smell that some of the other BB Creams I have tried had. Over all it is a pretty good product4
Really enjoy the new product. It is a new introduction of having a two in one item. Something that is makeup and keeps your skin healthy.4
This BB cream is thicker than most, but its easy to apply and gives good coverage.4
thought the sample size was way to small, didnt get a real feel of the product because it was such a small sample. had a heavy sun screen smell which i dont care for.4
I've been interested in trying a beauty balm but was worried they wouldn't provide enough coverage for me. (I usually like a medium-coverage foundation.) This was definitely well beyond what a tinted moisturizer would offer, though. It went on a little thicker than I expected and takes some blending in, but I was really impressed by how it made my skin look and feel, and the fact that it has SPF built in is also a huge plus for me.4
