We desperately try to adhere to the less-is-more philosophy, and Dr. Jart's Water Fuse Beauty Balm helps us minimize our routine. A moisturizer, sunscreen, and treatment serum all-in-one, this tinted BB cream even helps hide imperfections—so there's no need for foundation or cover-up. Made with 50 percent water, the brand's Advanced Water Bead Technology helps hydrate and maintain healthy moisture for a dewy, fresh look, with additonal help from hyaluronic acid and aloe vera. Sebum-regulating ingredients keep your complexion from becoming greasy, and the broad-spectrum SPF 25+ blocks harmful UVA and UVB rays. Free of sulfates and phthalates.
The Dr Jart Beauty Balm was the first beauty balm that I've ever tried, thus I can't compare it to others. It went on creamy, and dried in seconds. I have combination skin and it felt nice on all areas of my face. It did not sweat off during the day or even during light exercise and it came off with my mild cleanser.4
This was a really nice foundation/moisturizer combo that blended with my skin tone perfectly. I was sad that the sample only came with enough for one application of the face. I would buy this if the product sizes were a little more generous.4
Upon receiving my May Birchbox, this BB cream is the product I was most excited about. I did worry that the color would not be a good match for me as I have a medium/slightly tan skintone and I know that BB creams run light. Thankfully that was not the case! This BB cream blended perfectly into my skin and did not give me a grey cast. The first thing I noticed was that my skin felt moisturized, but did not look greasy; a plus for my oily skin. It did provide some coverage, but for darker acne hyperpigmentation spots you may need to use a concealer. Overall, the product has worn well throughout the day, and I don't look greasy at all. There is a slight dewiness, but it looks like a healthy glow. I definitely recommend this product!4
the undertone was slightly pink and i wish it were yellow to match mine.4
love the product, however wish the sample size in box was bigger. only got one good use out of it, would have hoped for a few uses just to make sure it wasn't going to break me out4
I think I would love this product to death if I wore foundation or concealer on a regular basis, but I don't so it was a bit too heavy for my tastes. It's still an amazing product - moisturizer, sunscreen, primer and color correcter in one! If you do typically use several different products, get rid of them and keep this handy instead. I used it right out of the shower, skipped my normal SPF moisturizer and applied make up right over top of it. Looked great and held up well for a night out. If I wore heavy makeup more often I'd definitely have it in my medicine cabinet all the time.4
great product-tad dry but when added to moisterizer, perfect4
Works pretty well as a primer, the moisturizer isn't that bad either. I have pretty dry skin and though I still had some spots that needed more moisturizer, it took care of it pretty well.4
OKay, I love this product - but the sample was very weak. Not only was it TEENIE TINY, but once I opened it, it was half empty. There is MAYBE one day's worth to use. The inside was all air and no product. Super bummed.4
I've been really worried about my oily/acne-prone skin getting no SPF love due to products that irritate my breakouts. With this I get some coverage, enough to significantly diminish red spots from old blemishes, and SPF 25 for outdoor protection. So far, underneath powder foundation, I've had no oily troubles above my average amount, and no breakouts (one or two blemishes are common for me, nothing more than that has occurred). I'm very pleased and will be purchasing this. A little goes a very long way.4
