We desperately try to adhere to the less-is-more philosophy, and Dr. Jart's Water Fuse Beauty Balm helps us minimize our routine. A moisturizer, sunscreen, and treatment serum all-in-one, this tinted BB cream even helps hide imperfections—so there's no need for foundation or cover-up. Made with 50 percent water, the brand's Advanced Water Bead Technology helps hydrate and maintain healthy moisture for a dewy, fresh look, with additonal help from hyaluronic acid and aloe vera. Sebum-regulating ingredients keep your complexion from becoming greasy, and the broad-spectrum SPF 25+ blocks harmful UVA and UVB rays. Free of sulfates and phthalates.
I used my moisturizer (Clinique), then put this stuff on, then put on some extra foundation because the coverage wasn't great.... it made my skin appear dry and flakey. Weird.1
Thought the cream made my skin feel very soft and smooth, but the color of the tint is totally wrong for my skin so it doesn't really work for me1
Like the title says, I am absolutely not a fan of BB cream, it makes my face feel totally weird and I find it over appreciated. I wish no one would ever put it in a beauty box again, I have a ton of the stuff, always sample it but never use it a second time. This is equally unpleasant. So probably if you like BB cream you should absolutely try it. If its not your thing this will not change your mind.1
i prefer a cc cream that i already use. but this looks like good product1
Beauty balms are all the rage right now, and every cosmetic line is making their own in hopes it will become the most coveted BB cream on the market. Promising anti-aging treatment & tinted SPF coverage, Dr. Jart+ carries a hefty price tag for their card in the beauty balm game. I don't believe a product exists that can prevent or lessen the effects of aging, and it's impossible to determine how well it protects skin from the sun. I can only give an opinion on the texture and tint. I have tried many beauty balms, preferring them over foundation any day, and this cream provided absolutely no coverage, not even a hint. As for the texture, I found it to be a little sticky when applied, and once settled, my skin did feel just a bit smoother, though it felt like I was wearing a facial mask instead of beauty balm. For the price, this beauty balm is not worth it.1
I use Clarins BB cream every day and love the coverage, consistency and SPF. This one was way too watery and didn't have ANY pigment to it. It looked terrible on my face, even layered underneath foundation. I gave it a few tries because I wanted to like it, but it's just not for me.1
I tried this the other morning and it made my skin a weird ashy grey color. It is obviously not the color for me.1
I wish birchbox would stop sending me so many samples of BB cream. I'm pretty sure I've had a sample of every product they make. I broke out terribly from the first one (yeah right, won't clog pores), and have been throwing them out since.1
I am not the biggest BB cream fan to begin with but I'm always up for trying a new one to see if it's the right formula. This BB cream did not work when applied on top of my own serum and sunscreen pre-makeup routine. Initially it looked great, then a couple of minutes after applying, it flaked and my skin looked like it was crumbling off. Not a good look!1
I didn't particularly care for this product. The application was greasy and didn't cover well. I also thought it was a poor choice for a November Box, when most ladies use foundation instead of BB cream.1
