We desperately try to adhere to the less-is-more philosophy, and Dr. Jart's Water Fuse Beauty Balm helps us minimize our routine. A moisturizer, sunscreen, and treatment serum all-in-one, this tinted BB cream even helps hide imperfections—so there's no need for foundation or cover-up. Made with 50 percent water, the brand's Advanced Water Bead Technology helps hydrate and maintain healthy moisture for a dewy, fresh look, with additonal help from hyaluronic acid and aloe vera. Sebum-regulating ingredients keep your complexion from becoming greasy, and the broad-spectrum SPF 25+ blocks harmful UVA and UVB rays. Free of sulfates and phthalates.
I wasn't able to use this because the color was too wrong for me. I would have liked to check it out, because I would prefer and all in one solution.2
After using this product a couple of times it was clear it wasn't for me. While it gives the light coverage of a typical BB Cream, the texture feels too weird for me. It feels thick, almost clay like to me. I prefer BB Creams to feel lighter, and more like a normal foundation, rather then feeling like I'd put on a mud mask.3
This is the first BB cream I've tried, and I liked it. Very high level of coverage from just a little amount. Not full coverage though, just a lot more than I'd expect from a tiny amount of BB. Matte finish, not dewy. Quite light, just a tad lighter than my skin at the moment, so it's ok for me. High quality, and I can tell.5
The product was way too dark for my skin and was cakey even though it is a BB cream. It clung to my dry patches as well1
Goes on easily, I would like to try it with an applicator rather than my fingers.
Build-able coverage was okay. I did have a few freckle-like dark spots that show through, but it did cover shave shadow well if you are lucky enough to have that problem.
It almost has brighteners in it. This is great for emphasizing your jaw line if you are heavy, and it shows in your face. Not as fond of the cheekbones highlighted since I have dark circles. It covers the dark, but that much luminosity on my cheekbones almost emphasized dark circles even though it conceals them.
I definitely know it's on, but it's not tight, oily, greasy, itchy or smelly. I haven't worn a stitch of makeup in months, and that might be why.
Acne prone with pot marks and a scar or two. Scars didn't show. Pot marks were harder to conceal. Uneven pores looked better.
Would like to try this product in a more matte finish.
Thanks for letting me try this product! It definitely is something I struggle with. Trying new samples helps a ton!
Will be trying this out while shopping in heat and humidity. Anxious to see how that goes.
This BB cream had a gray tint and didn't spread well at all. The color was alright--it was light coverage and didn't make my face gray. But I really didn't like that it was hard to spread. It was really hard to smooth on.1
This felt greasy when I put it on, and made my skin feel oily for the rest of the day. Might be better if you have dry skin, but anyone with oily skin might not like it.2
works good. doesnt smell bad. not too greasy. feels decent on my face.
I have Vitiligo, which means that areas of my skin lack melatonin and causes permanent whitening of the skin. The most embarrassing area that I have is on my face, around my mouth. It's products like these that help me feel somewhat normal and hope that no one can notice. This BB feels great and stays put even after sweating in the heat.5
Lightweight, medium coverage with no yellow undertones in the lighter shades. Wonderful for pale girls!5
