We desperately try to adhere to the less-is-more philosophy, and Dr. Jart's Water Fuse Beauty Balm helps us minimize our routine. A moisturizer, sunscreen, and treatment serum all-in-one, this tinted BB cream even helps hide imperfections—so there's no need for foundation or cover-up. Made with 50 percent water, the brand's Advanced Water Bead Technology helps hydrate and maintain healthy moisture for a dewy, fresh look, with additonal help from hyaluronic acid and aloe vera. Sebum-regulating ingredients keep your complexion from becoming greasy, and the broad-spectrum SPF 25+ blocks harmful UVA and UVB rays. Free of sulfates and phthalates.
I was disappointed by this BB cream - maybe because I've heard mostly good things about this brand. I thought it didn't spread well and was a little dry (if that makes sense?), and didn't even out my skin tone any better than less expensive, drug store BB creams.2
I've tried one or two BB creams before, but wasn't really impressed. I'm VERY fair, and it seemed like all of the products I tried acted more like a bad tinted moisturizer than the awesome BB creams the Internet seemed to be raving about. They miscolored my skin, didn't blend well, felt tacky, and just didn't make my skin feel good, so I gave them up as being "not for me".
At least until I got the Dr. Jart sample in my box this month! I tried it out the first time the other day, and it was like a breath of fresh air! It felt nice and nourishing, made my skin feel great, and without adding too much unnecessary pigment, it evened out my skin tone and made everything look great. My one beef is that the sample size is pretty teeny, but I guess that just means I'll have to buy some! :)
i like the light texture of this cream. It offers just enough coverage and moisturizer for days when I don't want to wear a lot of makeup.5
Used this BB cream once and while the coverage was nice and light, it made me break out majorly. Can't say I'll be buying this one.3
I love BB creams but I didn't care for this one. The product color was a bit off if not grey colored..? And it dried so fast that I didn't feel like I got ample coverage.3
I don't know if I just didn't like the product or if I'm just not a fan of BB creams in general. I thought it went on fine under my make up but it seemed to make me look more pale than I am.3
I have started using a CC cream that I love, and was excited to try this BB cream to see the difference. Although it has a great texture, I don't feel like there is enough, if any, coverage. It's too soon to see any of the corrective results, but I think I need something with a bit more coverage for bare or under makeup use.3
I have never used a tinted BB cream before but I really like this one. It goes on very smooth and hydrates my skin.5
This BB cream was too oily for my taste. It was almost a white/clear shade. I much prefer purminerals CC cream and plan to purchase it when my sample runs out.2
I absolutely love this product. It feels light and soothing -- and looks great. It feels moisturizing -- and it doesn't even look like I'm wearing makeup, except for the fact that it immediately smooths out any blemishes. It also helps the rest of my makeup adhere nicely.5
