We desperately try to adhere to the less-is-more philosophy, and Dr. Jart’s Water Fuse Beauty Balm helps us minimize our routine. A moisturizer, sunscreen, and treatment serum all-in-one, this tinted BB cream even helps hide imperfections—so there’s no need for foundation or cover-up. Think of it as the Swiss Army Knife of your beauty cabinet.
I bought the sample pack and the only one I really liked out of it was the original. The Water Fuse one is okay, but it doesn't give very much coverage at all and you can't keep layering because it starts to look chalky.3
I got this sample in a BB a few months ago, and have used it every day since. It is the PERFECT bb cream, and my make up routine isnt complete without it....5
I have very pale skin, but it blends very well. Balances skin tone and has an SPF of 25 without feeling greasy. No odd smell as with other ones that smell much more like sunscreen.5
I was excited to try this because I'd heard a lot of good things about Dr. Jart...the cream goes on very light but it eventually evens out to fit my skin tone if I keep blending. If you're more tan it might not blend out enough. Sometimes it would flake off while I was applying it though...that's never happened with other creams, and kind of weirded me out. It's medium-light coverage, I'd say. I wouldn't buy this again, mostly because of the flaking thing.3
I kept hearing about Dr. Jart+ BB cream, and honestly did not think it could be as good as my much cheaper drugstore BB cream.
Um. I was wrong.
I received a sample of this product from Birchbox, and was immediately sold. It did everything it said it would. And, I hate to admit it, but did it much better than my drugstore brand. This is now a must have product - I keep it on hand and use it daily.
I've been won over by Dr. Jart+ - I think you will, too!
I love how this feels going on, but the color turns orange on me. I like some of the other Dr Jart BBs much better.3
This BB cream hydrates and conceals at the same time. A winter must have ! Protects my skin and leaves it looking great.5
I chose this product due to the reviews claiming it was great for combination/oily skin. I've been very pleased so far! It lasts all day and has not caused any break outs. I love that it has enough coverage to to help even out my skin, but not so much that you can't see my freckles. It helps enhance my skin's beauty, not cover it up!5
I don't normally use this kind of products but I did like how smooth it went on and it lasted for the whole day.5
I just purchased this BB cream after reading the reviews. I had intended on buying the Marcelle BB cream after receiving a sample, but chose this one because of the sunscreen.
My initial reaction after first use was just ok. I have to point out this is a light colored BB cream, which I didn't read any comments addressing this. Coming off of summer, my skin is a little darker and I was surprised at how light this BB cream went on. It did adjust some after a few minutes and looked great under my makeup. I am going to keep using it as winter is coming and my skin will lighten up. But I would say this is meant for light-medium skin tones.
I do love how smooth and soft it goes on! I am surprised by other comments about how oily it is, as it is a water based cream. I don't find it to be oily at all! I have combination skin and live in a dry climate and some days I have even used moisturizer under it.
It goes on light, covers up my blemishes, dark spots, and in general even out my skin tone. I haven't noticed any flaking. Another reason I chose this one over the Marcelle is because of the daily serum. I had been looking to buy one separately and love that this is an all in one product!
Aside from my initial surprise at how light the tone is, I love the benefits of this BB cream and will continue to use it in my daily skincare routine!
