We desperately try to adhere to the less-is-more philosophy, and Dr. Jart's Water Fuse Beauty Balm helps us minimize our routine. A moisturizer, sunscreen, and treatment serum all-in-one, this tinted BB cream even helps hide imperfections—so there's no need for foundation or cover-up. Made with 50 percent water, the brand's Advanced Water Bead Technology helps hydrate and maintain healthy moisture for a dewy, fresh look, with additonal help from hyaluronic acid and aloe vera. Sebum-regulating ingredients keep your complexion from becoming greasy, and the broad-spectrum SPF 25+ blocks harmful UVA and UVB rays. Free of sulfates and phthalates.
Its very moisturizing which I love, but I'm a woman of color. I'm not even that dark and the tint is way too light. It made my face pastey and I had to apply regular foundation over my face to make it look normal. If your light skinned you'll probably like this product, but I wouldn't recommend it to anyone of the tanned persuasion.2
I really like it, this is the first time i try a BB cream and i have noticed that my skin doesnt get so oily during the day.4
The bb cream was moisturizing, but the only problem I had was the color selection for the sample. The sample was way to light for my skin tone.3
I loved this product. It made my skin smooth and almost luminous.5
The Dr Jart Beauty Balm was the first beauty balm that I've ever tried, thus I can't compare it to others. It went on creamy, and dried in seconds. I have combination skin and it felt nice on all areas of my face. It did not sweat off during the day or even during light exercise and it came off with my mild cleanser.4
I can't say much other than it was a tube of air with a little discharge. I love BB creams and will continue to try them but will stay away from this brand.1
I wish the sample would have been bigger because this product may have some potential. I've been on the search for years to find a non-greasy, but creamy moisturizer and a foundation that holds on for all day use. I've spent a good amount of money searching for a good foundation and moisturizer and I believe this may be it. The sample was just too small (and it barely had anything in it) for me to really try this out. I don't want to dedictate to buying the full size deal, but I just might. It felt weird as I was applying it but I really liked the coverage, although I only got to cover up half my face. I think this product has potential!3
This was a really nice foundation/moisturizer combo that blended with my skin tone perfectly. I was sad that the sample only came with enough for one application of the face. I would buy this if the product sizes were a little more generous.4
Made my skin appear washed out/pale. Perhaps the color was wrong for me?3
Upon receiving my May Birchbox, this BB cream is the product I was most excited about. I did worry that the color would not be a good match for me as I have a medium/slightly tan skintone and I know that BB creams run light. Thankfully that was not the case! This BB cream blended perfectly into my skin and did not give me a grey cast. The first thing I noticed was that my skin felt moisturized, but did not look greasy; a plus for my oily skin. It did provide some coverage, but for darker acne hyperpigmentation spots you may need to use a concealer. Overall, the product has worn well throughout the day, and I don't look greasy at all. There is a slight dewiness, but it looks like a healthy glow. I definitely recommend this product!4
