We desperately try to adhere to the less-is-more philosophy, and Dr. Jart's Water Fuse Beauty Balm helps us minimize our routine. A moisturizer, sunscreen, and treatment serum all-in-one, this tinted BB cream even helps hide imperfections—so there's no need for foundation or cover-up. Made with 50 percent water, the brand's Advanced Water Bead Technology helps hydrate and maintain healthy moisture for a dewy, fresh look, with additonal help from hyaluronic acid and aloe vera. Sebum-regulating ingredients keep your complexion from becoming greasy, and the broad-spectrum SPF 25+ blocks harmful UVA and UVB rays. Free of sulfates and phthalates.
I've really enjoyed this sample, I can hardly feel it when it's on and it gives a nice light to medium coverage. I also love that it has SPF 25 in it, might purchase once I run out of my current BB cream.4
I like this product because it didn't really feel like I was wearing something and I didn't have to have 3 different layers of product on my face. Even by itself it gave my face a good evening out.4
This is a true bb cream! It actually hydrates and moisturizes unlike other bb creams I've tried in the past. Has nice coverage and feels great on my skin.5
I had heard about this product from friends, and really wanted to try it. I tried it the day I got my box in the mail, and used it every day until it ran out. For such a small sample, it lasted a long time. The BB cream is great and I definitely plan on buying it soon.5
In theory, the BB seems like a good idea. But I wasn't terribly impressed by the Dr. Jart take on the product. My initial reaction was to the scent--a fairly old-school sunscreen smell.
But the proof of the BB is in the application, right? So onto the face it went. I didn't really notice any difference in my skin tone, and after a couple minutes my face just kept feeling funny-- in a "what is this stuff, get it off, get it off!" kind of way. So off it went. In short, I'll be sticking to my Clinique City Block, tyvm.
I like the way this makes my skin look, but feel it may be causing more breakouts on my already sensitive skin!4
I'm new to BB creams. It felt light on my face and blended well.3
I really loved this product. I don't use a lot of makeup on my face, but I need a little coverage. Usually I use mineral powder type makeup. This stuff is great because it is in no way greasy, and gives just the right amount of coverage. My freckles still show through, so I love that!5
I recently turned 30 and had been wearing only a tinted moisturizer as a base for makeup. However, I had recently decided that I needed something that provided slightly more coverage than a simple moisturizer, but hoped to find something that wasn't as heavy as full on foundation. Dr. Jart+ Beauty Balm is perfect! It goes on as smoothly and feels just as light as the moisturizer I was using, but it gives me a more even coverage of my face - smoothing out the tone of my skin and keeping my makeup in place much longer. I love it!5
I did not like this, at all. It was definitely more like a caked on foundation than a BB cream. You could see it on my face and didn't blend well. No impressed.1
