We desperately try to adhere to the less-is-more philosophy, and Dr. Jart's Water Fuse Beauty Balm helps us minimize our routine. A moisturizer, sunscreen, and treatment serum all-in-one, this tinted BB cream even helps hide imperfections—so there's no need for foundation or cover-up. Made with 50 percent water, the brand's Advanced Water Bead Technology helps hydrate and maintain healthy moisture for a dewy, fresh look, with additonal help from hyaluronic acid and aloe vera. Sebum-regulating ingredients keep your complexion from becoming greasy, and the broad-spectrum SPF 25+ blocks harmful UVA and UVB rays. Free of sulfates and phthalates.
This is a very good bb cream. It isn't greasy and does not have an odor. I've used another bb cream from the drugstore and was very disappointed. This was everything I wanted the other bb cream to be!5
I think this product would be a nice alternative to foundation in the summer.4
The only other BB cream I have is the Garnier one and I've heard that it's not as good as others, but this one is really good! I have no other high end BB cream to compare it to but I love it. It adds a nice tint and it looks dewy even. Nice for fall!4
This product is available to purchase in Sephora however keep in mind if you have yellow undertones, the Dr. Jart BB Cream selling in America from Sephora is not for you. It has a grey cast and works better for those with pink undertones. I own the Dr. Jart Gold Label Premium BB Cream which I purchased when I was overseas in Hong Kong, and that leans more towards yellow undertones along with no grey cast. The product itself is good and from what I've heard, 21 skilled dermatologists worked with Dr. Jart to create it. The coverage is medium, but if you want more coverage, I would suggest you layer a powder foundation over it to set it.4
This is a great product! Goes on with perfect coverage. Just a tiny bit to even out the skin tone, which is exactly what I want. It blends perfectly with my skin and is just plain wonderful.5
I love this stuff. Very silky and smooth on the skin. It provides just enough coverage for me, but not enough to cover my freckles (this is a good thing). It does not oxidize or turn colors on me, stays put all day and keeps my face looking dewy (not oily) all day.5
I loved the Dr. Jart BB cream! I think it is an awesome product. I don't like thick heavy foundations so I am thrilled with this new product!5
This beauty balm will soon replace my everyday Bobbi Brown Skin Foundation. My face looks the same at 7am vs. 6pm. My makeup stays put throughout the day. It's not drying but not oily either. The only negative is during application, you can feel the balm turning into a water based balm...weird feeling, but it can be smoothed out easily.5
I wanted to like this more than I actually do. I have very oily skin, so the light reflecting pigments that give others a natural dewey glow just make me look too shiny. I also didn't notice any difference in oil control. The formula is a tad thick, so it takes more force to blend in than a tinted moisturizer. The final effect is fine, and while I think this may work for others, it's just not the best BB creme for me.3
I've had some great luck with BB creams. Boscia happens to be my favorite. I feel like it doesn't need anything else on top of it, whereas this sample was more of a tinted moisturizer on my skin. Added a tiny bit of coverage, but left me shiny and didn't even out anything.1
