We desperately try to adhere to the less-is-more philosophy, and Dr. Jart's Water Fuse Beauty Balm helps us minimize our routine. A moisturizer, sunscreen, and treatment serum all-in-one, this tinted BB cream even helps hide imperfections—so there's no need for foundation or cover-up. Made with 50 percent water, the brand's Advanced Water Bead Technology helps hydrate and maintain healthy moisture for a dewy, fresh look, with additonal help from hyaluronic acid and aloe vera. Sebum-regulating ingredients keep your complexion from becoming greasy, and the broad-spectrum SPF 25+ blocks harmful UVA and UVB rays. Free of sulfates and phthalates.
I thought there would be moisturizer in it. To me and my skin it was a very dry product.2
I like that these bbcreams are easy to apply and don't streak easily. I've tried tinted moisturizers in the past but I don't have a practiced hand and have found streaking and clumping on dry skin by my nose hard to avoid. This cream rounds out my color without being noticeable, which is great because I don't like to see my makeup in the mirror.
Dr. Jart's bbcream is a product I've seen reviewed in a lot of magazines and have been looking forward to trying it. I'm glad it came in my birchbox!
I might purchase this product. My sample bottle had so little product in it that I really only got to use it once. I like the idea of something that is lighter and easier to apply, for the days when I don't want to slather foundation all over my face. I just wish I would've had the chance to try it more than once before deciding if I want to purchase.3
I don't blame you birch box, I blame Dr. Jart for supplying us with useless samples this month. There was NOTHING in the bottle. If you're going to put THAT LITTLE PRODUCT in a container, put it in a foil packet. At least I can get stuff out of a foil packet. I'd love to really review this, but I can't because even after I ended up CUTTING the tube to get some product out, there wasn't even enough in there to put on half of my nose.2
My sample bottle had maybe about a small pearl sized drop. I couldn't get enough out of it to make a sound judgement.3
I'm on the fence about this sample. The color matched my skin perfect, and I like the finished feel, but other than the SPF I don't see the added benefit. I don't use foundation because I don't like my freckles covered, but this was so sheer it did nothing to balance the redness on my face. It was definitely nicer than putting on greasy sunscreen, but I don't see the point if there isn't much coverage being provided.3
I'm super excited about this whole BB Cream craze and couldn't wait to try this sample. I think i'm going to stick to the Garner BB Cream however becasue for my skin the Dr. Jart's was a little too liquid to powdery and though it eventually blended to the right skin tone it went on too light for me color wise.3
I really like this product and how it feels and looks on my face, but I've been breaking out and I am not sure if it is because of this product or not!3
Love this product - looks great under makeup. Makeup applies easily on top of it.
Also, will be something I use on lazy days when I don't want to do my entire routine but still want a little bit of coverage for my face!
This product has a very interesting feel to it. It's very slick, but after it dries, it does leave a slight tackiness on your skin.
I also love the scent of this.
