We desperately try to adhere to the less-is-more philosophy, and Dr. Jart's Water Fuse Beauty Balm helps us minimize our routine. A moisturizer, sunscreen, and treatment serum all-in-one, this tinted BB cream even helps hide imperfections—so there's no need for foundation or cover-up. Made with 50 percent water, the brand's Advanced Water Bead Technology helps hydrate and maintain healthy moisture for a dewy, fresh look, with additonal help from hyaluronic acid and aloe vera. Sebum-regulating ingredients keep your complexion from becoming greasy, and the broad-spectrum SPF 25+ blocks harmful UVA and UVB rays. Free of sulfates and phthalates.
I love this! It feels refreshing on my face and not heavy at all while still giving my face an even appearance! I was so excited to see this in my birchbox this month! And I also like the SPF factor! :)5
Really enjoy the new product. It is a new introduction of having a two in one item. Something that is makeup and keeps your skin healthy.4
This BB cream is thicker than most, but its easy to apply and gives good coverage.4
Although it's not my favorite BB, I am pleased with this product. Boscia is my favorite BB cream so far. The color of the Dr. Jart+ water fuse is a little too greyish for my liking, but it does blend in nicely. I also like the fact it has a good bit of sunscreen in it.3
If you're striving for a dewy finish, this is totally for you. It provides a surprising amount of coverage and allegedly, your skin is receiving out-of-this-world benefits.
I love how my skin looks immediately after I apply. I do have rather oily skin so after an hour or so, my face was a bit too shiny for my liking. So, I had to deploy two sheets of blotting paper and pressed powder.
I imagine that people with normal/dry skin will have better luck with the dewy finish. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that this will work out better for me in the colder months (my skin tends to be dryer then).
thought the sample size was way to small, didnt get a real feel of the product because it was such a small sample. had a heavy sun screen smell which i dont care for.4
I've been interested in trying a beauty balm but was worried they wouldn't provide enough coverage for me. (I usually like a medium-coverage foundation.) This was definitely well beyond what a tinted moisturizer would offer, though. It went on a little thicker than I expected and takes some blending in, but I was really impressed by how it made my skin look and feel, and the fact that it has SPF built in is also a huge plus for me.4
I'm a huge BB cream advocate (having used Stila's for several months now), and readily willing to try out any new brands. I was super excited to give Dr. Jart's a go, but was disappointed with the color- didn't seem to blend well with my fair to medium skin. Aside from this, I thought the texture and coverage was great. New shades for different skin tones, Dr. J??4
I love how this does the job with just one product. When I'm in a hurry I can put this on with some mascara and lip color and be out the door. Perfect!5
Great product! Glides on smoothly and covers imperfections pretty well. I prefer the other Dr. Jart beauty balm over this one, but they both are fantastic4
