We desperately try to adhere to the less-is-more philosophy, and Dr. Jart's Water Fuse Beauty Balm helps us minimize our routine. A moisturizer, sunscreen, and treatment serum all-in-one, this tinted BB cream even helps hide imperfections—so there's no need for foundation or cover-up. Made with 50 percent water, the brand's Advanced Water Bead Technology helps hydrate and maintain healthy moisture for a dewy, fresh look, with additonal help from hyaluronic acid and aloe vera. Sebum-regulating ingredients keep your complexion from becoming greasy, and the broad-spectrum SPF 25+ blocks harmful UVA and UVB rays. Free of sulfates and phthalates.
What I think I love most about this product is the way it feels on your skin. It goes on very lightly and leaves the skin looking brighter and clear. I don't think the coverage is as great as some of my other foundations, however for a natural glowing look this would do the trick.4
this is a very good product...it offers good coverage
without looking "caked" on
I like the idea of this beauty balm being that it is a moisturizer, sunscreen, and treatment serum all-in-one but I had to use a lot in order to spread it onto my entire face. I felt like the consistency of it wasn't that great, it seemed to dry up really fast so I had to apply more to cover my whole face.3
I've been looking for a natural-looking, light coverage solution for a while, and I think this is it. I don't have many blemishes, and am not a fan of the whole concealer+foundation+powder show... but I do have some red areas I like to even out. When first applying the product, I was kind of worried, because it seems too sheer... but once it's on it's the perfect amount of coverage for me. It evens out redness, while barely looking like it's there, and all in one step. Also works well under powder, for more coverage.5
The sample was too dark. I wonder if this comes in different shades? If so, I would purchase a lighter shade. It's nice to see Korean products represented in birchbox.5
I love bb creams! I'm 27 and I have wrinkles around my undereye area, and they're only enhanced when I wear foundation. BB cream to the rescue! The creams aren't heavy enough to cause creasing, but do provide for a more even skin tone. Then, if I need more coverage, I can add foundation and/or concealer right where I need it!4
I love their products, they go so well with my skin!!! I would recommend this to anyone.5
Goes on smoothly, doesn't appear oily, covers well, and lasts!! First time trying a BB cream but I've wanted to!4
I am Southeast Asian and have a lot of yellow undertones, so this made me look ashy and unhealthy. The balm did even out my skin tone, even if it was the wrong color.1
It applied very light, but it adjusted to a darker tone, but it's still a tad too light. I'm a NC30. This Dr Jart has no coverage what so ever. I wanted something to hide the redness around my checks and to even out my skin tone. This did neither. I'm familiar with BB creams as I own two Missha BB creams and one Lioele BB cream. Those BB creams made my skin flawless by covering my post acne marks. If your skin is already flawless, then I guess this would work for you. But then again, you wouldn't need a BB cream... For the rest of us girls with some old acne marks, you'll need a concealer for that extra coverage. But I don't want to do any extra step when BB creams are meant to be an all in one skincare/makeup. There are better products out there. I rather wear my light coverage foundation like Lancome's Invisible Fluid.2
