We desperately try to adhere to the less-is-more philosophy, and Dr. Jart’s Water Fuse Beauty Balm helps us minimize our routine. A moisturizer, sunscreen, and treatment serum all-in-one, this tinted BB cream even helps hide imperfections—so there’s no need for foundation or cover-up. Think of it as the Swiss Army Knife of your beauty cabinet.
Sounded like it would have been an awesome product and would have been more into it if it were sheer, but I'm super tan so I looked like a mime when I applied it! That's the only reason I give it a low rating, it doesn't exactly work for everyone.2
I really enjoyed sampling Dr. Jart's Water Fuse Beauty Balm SPF 25+ - so much so that I plan to purchase it in the near future. I keep a pretty busy work schedule, so my beauty routine is often minimalist at best and this fits right into it. Pressed powder glides over it well and left my complexion looking soft and even, even hours after setting my makeup for the day.5
I am all about the less is more philosophy. I have been wearing tinted moisturizer for a while which I love; but this is fantastic! It's all three in one and I didn't have to wear any foundation. I had even gotten a lot of sun and was patchy and red in places, and this product totally smoothed out my skin.5
This product was an odd color and did not spread or blend well. I mixed it with my usual moisturizer, and it did give me a little bit of coverage, but all in all I just wasn't that fond of it.2
Looks like a good product but has silicone which is a big no no for my skin.1
I only had a dot of product in the sample I was sent. I'm very fair and the color seems like it would match well but did not receive enough to try it out.3
I received this as a sample product in my May 2012 Birchbox. Basically, it's just foundation with sunscreen in it. It left me with a very pasty, matte look. No bueno. For something that talks about "water fuse" it made my face look dry.2
From what I could tell this is a decent product, but I was pretty dissapointed with the sample size; the tube was mostly air and there was only enough product for one use! Anyway, I love the idea of BB creams and there are cheaper ones out there that I will try before purchasing this one.4
I have heard of Dr. Jart's BB cream before. Dr. Jart's had rave reviews as one of the best BB creams out there, so I was very excited to try it for the first time. I tried one other BB cream before this one, and I have to say I love Dr. Jart's more. It is very light, not greasy, and leaves my face looking fresh (not chalky). I would highly recommend this BB cream for anyone trying BB creams.5
I really like this product. My initial opinion was that the product was a little too thick, but after about a minute, it lightened and it feels really nice on. The product gives great coverage and appears to last fairly long. The color did work perfectly for my skin and I really liked that about it, though that's purely a personal experience and must be credited to birchbox. And lastly, a little goes a long way. I do think I will be purchasing a full size of this, however, my debate will be over the price, it's a little pricey in my opinion, but I do think it's worth it.4
