We desperately try to adhere to the less-is-more philosophy, and Dr. Jart's Water Fuse Beauty Balm helps us minimize our routine. A moisturizer, sunscreen, and treatment serum all-in-one, this tinted BB cream even helps hide imperfections—so there's no need for foundation or cover-up. Made with 50 percent water, the brand's Advanced Water Bead Technology helps hydrate and maintain healthy moisture for a dewy, fresh look, with additonal help from hyaluronic acid and aloe vera. Sebum-regulating ingredients keep your complexion from becoming greasy, and the broad-spectrum SPF 25+ blocks harmful UVA and UVB rays. Free of sulfates and phthalates.
I already use a Dr. Jart beauty balm (the SPF 45 PA). I found that this sample in my Birchbox glided on smoothly. I prefer the SPF 45 PA only for the fact that it gives me more of a foundation coverage, but if you are looking for most moisture and less coverage, this would be the product to go with.4
I have never heard of Dr. Jart products before, and was happy to try the Beauty Balm as I've been looking for the perfect BB cream myself. I've tried some really good ones lately, and this one just didn't stand up to the rest of them. It went on really thin, almost felt watered down a bit. The scent reminded me of sunscreen. I liked that it had SPF in it, and the color blended well with my skin. It's not that this is a bad product, it's just that I've tried other BB creams I prefer over this one.2
I'm pretty new to BB creams so I'm not quite an expert on them but I found that this feels amazing on my skin. It is quite pricey though so I'm going to wait till I have more Birchbox points to purchase this product. I found that it does everything a BB cream is supposed to do.5
Im so/so on the product right now, Its hard to tell because my face is really breaking out lately and my face is really red so it could be a challenge trying to cover it all, not saying its bad at all but probably not for girls with pretty bad acne issues.3
It's a good neutral color so it matches most skin types. It covers blemishes and seems to treat my skin gently but effectively. At least, so far, so good. I expect I may buy a full size eventually.5
I didn't think much of BB creams after trying some other brands and they were essentially tinted moisturizers, which is something I don't really need being oily and in South Texas. Dr. Jart's is different. A cooling souffle out of the tube and covers imperfections instead of just adding color. Feels good all day. Great for every day wear. I'm a fan.5
Dr. Jart's Beauty Balm gave my skin a nice even glow, the coverage was not too heavy, and my skin could breathe. It seems perfect for weekends but during the work week it may need some powder over it to avoid looking shiny.4
I had not yet set foot into B.B. territory, but now I'm sure I'm hooked! My skin can be sensitive AND a little dry, and this product moisturized without clogging any pores. It really does seem to just weightlessly melt into your skin. Also, even though the sample bottle appeared tiny, this lasted me for well over a week (enough time to decide how it reacted with my skin)5
The tint in this product is very light. I was not a huge fan using it as a moisturizer like it says. Too much tint.2
I was really excited to try this product but was disappointed by the lack of blend-ability it offered. But it definitely improved my skin tone while wearing it.4
