We desperately try to adhere to the less-is-more philosophy, and Dr. Jart's Water Fuse Beauty Balm helps us minimize our routine. A moisturizer, sunscreen, and treatment serum all-in-one, this tinted BB cream even helps hide imperfections—so there's no need for foundation or cover-up. Made with 50 percent water, the brand's Advanced Water Bead Technology helps hydrate and maintain healthy moisture for a dewy, fresh look, with additonal help from hyaluronic acid and aloe vera. Sebum-regulating ingredients keep your complexion from becoming greasy, and the broad-spectrum SPF 25+ blocks harmful UVA and UVB rays. Free of sulfates and phthalates.
This blended nice and had a pleasant scent but my face felt a bit dry a few hours after putting it on.3
This was my first time using a BB and I'm sold! It had a good, creamy texture and good blendability. It really evened my skin out without making me feel like I was wearing foundation. My skin is a little oily, and using this with my other samples, I could feel a slight build up in a few hours, but I think that will go away when I go back to my old regimen.5
I have love-hate thoughts for this product. I LOVED how it made my skin feel--very soft and matte. I loved how it balanced with my natural moisture and it seemed to regulate and control my typically shiny skin. However, I found that it did not mix well with my other face products and in some spots showed a residue that I was unable to blend. I also do not like how it turns white when wet... what if I get caught in the rain?! Overall, I wish I could love it because of how it balanced the oil in my skin, made it really soft, and shine free (which is a big accomplishment), however, the cons keep me from purchasing it.3
The color was grey and made me look a little too ashy.2
I love the way this looked on me, beautiful and light with some sheen but sadly it broke me out. Most beaty balm creams break out my sensitive skin.3
This BB cream went on flawlessly and matched my skin tone perfectly!5
This is a good BB Cream for spring and summer use. I love how it is has many purposes in just one product! The coverage is good, but just a little to dry for my skin during the fall and winter months.4
I really liked this beuty balm. It goes on smoothly and blends evenly, even for someone with extremely fair skin. I can also put powder foundation on top and it doesn't look caked. Wears well and controls shine.5
this was the WORST BB cream that I've ever used. I sat on my skin and I had to wipe it off. Terrible1
Usually pretty thrilled with the items from Birchbox. This one, not so much. It pours out like a thick foundation, but rubs on a bit like old sunscreen. I really had to rub it into my skin to get it to blend. I don't know that I'd wear this alone instead of foundation even though it's tinted. I did apply foundation over it this morning, and the end result of the two combined is nice looking, but feels very heavy. Not sure I'd ever really buy this, except maybe for summer beach days where makeup is too heavy and I needed SPF protection.2
