We desperately try to adhere to the less-is-more philosophy, and Dr. Jart's Water Fuse Beauty Balm helps us minimize our routine. A moisturizer, sunscreen, and treatment serum all-in-one, this tinted BB cream even helps hide imperfections—so there's no need for foundation or cover-up. Made with 50 percent water, the brand's Advanced Water Bead Technology helps hydrate and maintain healthy moisture for a dewy, fresh look, with additonal help from hyaluronic acid and aloe vera. Sebum-regulating ingredients keep your complexion from becoming greasy, and the broad-spectrum SPF 25+ blocks harmful UVA and UVB rays. Free of sulfates and phthalates.
BB creams are as finicky as skin and most have to be tested for colour match and texture. I find Dr. Jart to oxidize to a much paler colour than when applied and tends to oil up on me after about 4 hours. It's a heavier consistency than Boscia but covers better. It's good for spot application on me. I own several brands of BB cream and find that often mixing several give me the right application and cover. I think they are terrific for use as a sunscreen at the beach/pool especially for those of us who do not have good skin and don't want to wear foundation to the beach. I have one brand that offers 50 sunscreen and gives me great natural coverage and I use Dr Jart's on certain areas over it.
I do chemical peels at home (TCA) and find that BB creams are the perfect treatment/foundation to wear the week after so I can return to the office without scaring everyone!
I love how it has four different uses, and also is very light and doesn't make my skin look oily. And I like how the SPF is high, unlike some of the other make up products I use.5
this product has so many benefits and it makes getting ready even easier because it eliminates steps by combining products, awesome idea!5
This is my first BB cream. I have to say I really liked the coverage. Also, the cooling effect was really nice especially since summer's coming. I have really sensitive skin from using retinoids for my acne, and this didn't even bother my skin at all! All in all, after applying, it looked like I have naturally pretty skin. ;)4
Worked well though I didn't really have much to sample...there was like 1 drop. I would have to try more to get a better idea.4
I really like this bb cream. It's smooth and blends really well. I like how light it is. I think it will be great to wear this summer when it's too hot for really thick foundation. Oh yeah, it is a bb cream not a foundation, so keep in mind the coverage won't be as full.5
I am not sure how this might affect my tendency to break out after more than few uses. So far it has been a good moisturizer and has a slight tint that does help my foundation even out my tone. It is worth a try for yourself, would not be a waste.3
This is really, really nice -- immediately noticeable results serve as a kind of enticement for the long-term benefits of actually using sunscreen and moisturizer. Definitely a Swiss army knife.5
i liked it but my tube was mostly empty and i could onlyget a small dab out of it sothat was dissapointing.4
Love Dr Jart's Beauty Balm! I just ordered it and I'm so excited that I got it in my Birchbox otherwise I would never have tried it. It has everything you need in one product without looking unnatural.5
