We desperately try to adhere to the less-is-more philosophy, and Dr. Jart's Water Fuse Beauty Balm helps us minimize our routine. A moisturizer, sunscreen, and treatment serum all-in-one, this tinted BB cream even helps hide imperfections—so there's no need for foundation or cover-up. Made with 50 percent water, the brand's Advanced Water Bead Technology helps hydrate and maintain healthy moisture for a dewy, fresh look, with additonal help from hyaluronic acid and aloe vera. Sebum-regulating ingredients keep your complexion from becoming greasy, and the broad-spectrum SPF 25+ blocks harmful UVA and UVB rays. Free of sulfates and phthalates.
If you're interested in BB creams, this is the way to go. This may not be from Korea, but it definitely still comes from the world of skincare instead of color. It not only gives a bit of color for evenness, it also gives benefits to the skin that you're not going to get in a foundation or tinted moisturizer. This particular formula is best for dry skin, as it's the Water Fuse formula.5
For some reason I didn't quite love it. It's good that it has SPF and it blends in nicely but the shade was just not right from me, and it looks like it only comes in that shade. I have oily skin and this made me look nice and dewy for the first couple of hours but it didn't help with oil control towards the end of the day. Maybe good for someone with combination/normal skin.3
I like it but I've tried other BB creams that I like better.3
Loved this BB Cream! you dont need a lot! a little defienently goes a long way!5
Slightly too light for my skin tone, especially now that I've gotten a bit of sun. It is a bit ashy appearing on my skin, so I followed up with a mineral powder foundation. The overall effect is good in that it covered up most of my redness and gave me an even appearance. I did also have to use a moisturizer under the product. I had some dry skin on the tip of my nose and this product made that very obvious, which was unfortunate. If it was a bit more moisturizing I'd be more likely to purchase it in the future.4
Okay, I've been researching BB Creams for awhile and I was ecstatic when a sample came in my May Birchbox. That quickly turned to disappointment once I tried it out. It's a shade or two too light for my skintone. It also has a grayish quality to it. This cream is made for people with dry skin so it didn't work out for my oily/combination skin. This review seems harsh, but I do think that this product would be great for someone with drier and lighter skin. I hope that someday, Dr. Jart will come out with more skin shade choices so that I can try one of their other BB Cream variations. Until then, I'll keep on researching.1
I had never even heard of this product until I received it in my May box. This stuff is amazing. Not only is my skin smoother and more dewey, I don't even have to wear make-up! All I do is apply this cream and swipe on some mascara & I'm out the door.
How easy is that?
I like BB's, but my fair skin can sometimes make me look pink or orange depending on the tint.
This one is the exception. With fair skin and freckles I was hesitant to put some on before an outdoor event recently but, I am so glad I did!
Blended PERFECTLY! And I truly think it set a better foundation for my makeup to sit on!
Would definitely recommend to friends and plan on getting some when my tube is empty.
I didn't get very much in the sample, and it was difficult to dispense it due to the packaging, so that was frustrating. However as far as the product itself goes, it went on non-oily, matched my skin tone well, didn't have a bad smell, but was just a little chalky looking. Overall, it wasn't that bad after I applied my bronzer and blush.3
There wasn't enough product in the sample to even try. I had to really squeeze to get one use out.3
