We desperately try to adhere to the less-is-more philosophy, and Dr. Jart's Water Fuse Beauty Balm helps us minimize our routine. A moisturizer, sunscreen, and treatment serum all-in-one, this tinted BB cream even helps hide imperfections—so there's no need for foundation or cover-up. Made with 50 percent water, the brand's Advanced Water Bead Technology helps hydrate and maintain healthy moisture for a dewy, fresh look, with additonal help from hyaluronic acid and aloe vera. Sebum-regulating ingredients keep your complexion from becoming greasy, and the broad-spectrum SPF 25+ blocks harmful UVA and UVB rays. Free of sulfates and phthalates.
I'm Asian and I'm pretty tan. This Dr. Jart is this weird biege color and is extremely light. Makes my face pale. I was disappointed with it really. Besides the color I like the feel it is really light. So It's okay.3
I thought I would have been really into this product because of its versatility, but in actuality it made my already sensitive skin really dry. I had to use a moisturizer before I used this which I found odd because wasn't this product supposed to be a tinted moisturizer. Good product, but not for my skin.3
The product was just okay. The sample wasn't big enough to apply over my entire face. It was basically a tinted moisturizer. I prefer more coverage so I wasn't that into it. But it would be good for a pool day when you want just a little bit of coverage.2
I was not impressed with this product. It offered little cover up and left my face feeling gross.3
I really liked how this cream would cover a lot of my skin discoloration from mild acne scars and minimized my pores but it was definitely too pale for my skin. If your skin is pale, this product will be great, but if your skin is even medium, it might make your face look too pale.4
this is my new favorite BB cream.
i was looking for a new BB cream a few months ago and i found this in my may 2012 birchbox! absolutely love it and bought the full size :)
I love BB creams and this one is perfect. I've been wanting to test the Dr. Jartt for a while and was excited to get it in my Birchbox!5
This is the first BB Cream I've tried, so I can't really compare it to other BB creams. I expected more. I used my moisturizer underneath this. At first when I was applying it over my face it looked a little pasty/streaky but it blended in. The first time I applied it I had a light sunburn and this BB cream didn't cover that. I used 3 layers over my any blemishes I had and it covered them pretty well, which was awesome. I also liked that when I checked my makeup in a mirror outside in the daylight, it looked seamless and not cakey which tends to be a problem with my dry skin. I like that it has sunscreen in it. Also it brightened up my dark circles nicely, which no product has done for me before. I feel like if I had more of the product in my sample so I could use it more and figure out how to apply it customized to my face then I would like it a lot more.3
I don't usually wear any foundation but loved the way this product looked and felt. It has a light feel but gives a little coverage. Plus I love that it has SPF!5
When I first tried it I was so so on it. It was good but I didn't know if I would buy it for the price. However the second and third time I used it I fell in love with it. It made my skin look amazing!! It was light weight and didn't feel like my face was caked with makeup. I love it!5
