We desperately try to adhere to the less-is-more philosophy, and Dr. Jart's Water Fuse Beauty Balm helps us minimize our routine. A moisturizer, sunscreen, and treatment serum all-in-one, this tinted BB cream even helps hide imperfections—so there's no need for foundation or cover-up. Made with 50 percent water, the brand's Advanced Water Bead Technology helps hydrate and maintain healthy moisture for a dewy, fresh look, with additonal help from hyaluronic acid and aloe vera. Sebum-regulating ingredients keep your complexion from becoming greasy, and the broad-spectrum SPF 25+ blocks harmful UVA and UVB rays. Free of sulfates and phthalates.
to me this is more like a tinted moisturizer because it has color to it. i was excited to use this because i have never tried a BB cream before. unfortunately i did not love it bc of the color. it makes me feel like im putting foundation on twice, even tho it is light weight. the good things about this though is that i can use it without any other foundation project and can look natural but still have a tint of color and cover. the "water fuse" part made me feel like my skin would get oily but it actually did not at all. i think my lotion i got from birchbox last month made my skin more oily. i wouldnt buy this but i will continue to use the sample. o and it says full size but i thought the size was very small for it to be full size2
This product was amazing. It was so smooth, and I loved the packaging. This BB cream actually gave me a little bit of coverage along with the moisturizing factor. I can't wait to buy this product! Thank you Birchbox!5
I have sampled a few different BB creams since the BB cream trend took off. The only BB's I can recomend are from Boscia, and now Dr. Jart. I loved the light and silky texture, as well as the way it blends away imperfections. I also love that Dr. Jart's + Water Fuse BB applies matte, not greasy. I will definitely be picking this one up. Great product.4
I am still getting used to the whole B.B. Cream thing and I have found a couple I like but this is NOT one of them. It felt really thick to me and I'll use up my sample but I know I won't be repurchasing this one.2
This balm is okay but not worth the money. The color was a little light for my face. Not something I would buy.2
What I think I love most about this product is the way it feels on your skin. It goes on very lightly and leaves the skin looking brighter and clear. I don't think the coverage is as great as some of my other foundations, however for a natural glowing look this would do the trick.4
this is a very good product...it offers good coverage
without looking "caked" on
I like the idea of this beauty balm being that it is a moisturizer, sunscreen, and treatment serum all-in-one but I had to use a lot in order to spread it onto my entire face. I felt like the consistency of it wasn't that great, it seemed to dry up really fast so I had to apply more to cover my whole face.3
I've been looking for a natural-looking, light coverage solution for a while, and I think this is it. I don't have many blemishes, and am not a fan of the whole concealer+foundation+powder show... but I do have some red areas I like to even out. When first applying the product, I was kind of worried, because it seems too sheer... but once it's on it's the perfect amount of coverage for me. It evens out redness, while barely looking like it's there, and all in one step. Also works well under powder, for more coverage.5
The sample was too dark. I wonder if this comes in different shades? If so, I would purchase a lighter shade. It's nice to see Korean products represented in birchbox.5
