We're always skeptical when products promise the sun and the moon, but Dr. Jart's Premium Beauty Balm truly delivers. A four-in-one primer, moisturizer, sunscreen, and treatment serum, the formula helps you cut down on the grooming clutter. This tinted balm uses adenosine to improve skin's elasticity and arbutin to brighten and even out skin tone. An antioxidant bio-peptide complex provides anti-aging properties and promotes collagen production, while titanium dioxide and zinc oxide add broad spectrum UVA and UVB protection.
Maybe it's just my skin type and my face, but I did not like this product at all. I use a BB or CC cream daily so I thought I would like this product, but the coverage was too heavy and thick-- the cream made the hairs on my face stand out and made the drier skin on my forehead stand out. This one is not for me.1
I do not like this product at all. The texture is way too thick and goes on cakes. The color is not natural. It felt like a mask on my face.1
I used it on my skin...nothing great or bad to report. I feel like a drug store product would probably be just as good.1
I did not care for this product. It was thick and heavy on my skin and did not blend in well. I usually like tinted moisturizers and these types of creams.1
I have acne prone skin and this product broke my skin out like crazy. I try not to put a lot of oils and creams on my face on a daily basis, for me personally it keeps my skin healthier. I do love BB creams for special occasion make-up looks because they are lighter than a foundation but provide more coverage than a powder. I tried this in place of my BB cream that I would normally use and I regret it. I also think the consistency was similar to a foundation cream, not a BB. I threw it away after the first use.1
Okay, totally stupid of me but I didn't realize this was a foundation when I put it on. I thought it was a sunscreen or something. But once I put it on, I put it all the way on because I didn't have time to take it off and redo my make up. It was really heavy and not compatible with my skin.1
I have oily, acne prone skin. This balm sounded like a great alternative to foundation, but I was really disappointed overall. The color was far too pale, even for someone like me with a very easy to match skin tone. But beyond that, it was very greasy and didn't absorb into the skin properly; instead, it sort of sat on top and didn't blend evenly into the skin at all.1
I did not like what this product looked like on my skin; it was too cakey and the color didn't work at all.1
The color did not work with my skin tone. I would like in a darker shade.1
I've tried several BB creams and the product is just not for me. This one in particular was very thick and the color just didn't work. The sample was actually a great size. I got more than one use out of it.1
