We're always skeptical when products promise the sun and the moon, but Dr. Jart's Premium Beauty Balm truly delivers. A four-in-one primer, moisturizer, sunscreen, and treatment serum, the formula helps you cut down on the grooming clutter. This tinted balm uses adenosine to improve skin's elasticity and arbutin to brighten and even out skin tone. An antioxidant bio-peptide complex provides anti-aging properties and promotes collagen production, while titanium dioxide and zinc oxide add broad spectrum UVA and UVB protection.
This is my favorite BB Cream. It goes on smooth and does not feel heavy at all! I can wear it all day and it still looks great by the end of the day.5
Loved this product. Helped keep my liquid foundation stay on longer with smoother coverage.5
Your product is easy to use and I love how it blends in with my skin tone :) smells good and would like to purchase some5
It was amazing, love the consistency and the surprising amount of coverage5
Love that this has a SPF of 45! Feels really good going on and coverage is just what I want in a balm. I could certainly see buying this again.4
Overall, this product is pretty good, but I wanted to love it more. The coverage on my face was good, I liked the tint and the sample size was perfect for a few tests. The smell was a bit too chemical for my liking and the texture felt sticky on my skin even after about ten minutes.3
I love this product! It is the best thing I have ever gotten out of my subscription. Everything the description says is true and it has a hugh effect on my face that has some acne scars.5
I'd tried a drugstore-brand BB cream and was intrigued by the look. I have very light combination skin plagued by huge pores and a cheery red swath of rosacea across my cheeks and between the eyes. Mineral powder felt great and smoothed out the redness but highlighted both pores and drier skin areas. Cream foundation was heavy. Liquid foundation slid off the oily bits. But BB cream... yes, it's not much more than tinted moisturizer, but it works great for me.
Anyway, based on reviews here and elsewhere I decided to take a chance on the premium edition of Dr. Jart+ BB in shade #1. The foundation tube is labeled light-medium and the cream looked alarmingly dark when I dispensed it onto my palm. No worries, it goes on much lighter than it looks. I assume you can build layers for more color, but just the one layer matched my very light skin. What rosacea?
I was also concerned that the color would be too warm since I have cool undertones but it looks fine. Shade #1 might be a little too dark in the Pacific Northwest winter when I go from light to translucent, but it's excellent for my spring/summer coloration.
This shade was a bit too light for my skin. Unfortunately, it made my face break out a bit on my forehead.3
It went on and felt light weight but had great coverage. Also, it adjusted to match my skin tone, leaving a very natural look.5
