The hair-centric among us have one burning question for Blake Lively: how does she get those gorgeous waves? Though our curiosity may never be fully satisfied, we can all get better hair with this shine-enhancing conditioner, which was inspired by the “Gossip Girl” star. Specially designed for long hair, it detangles knots, repairs damage, and glossifies each strand. Next up: show-stealing locks worthy of a red carpet premiere.
This was way too light for my hair, and did not add any moisture. I had to use my regular conditioner to try to get some smoothness back to my hair after this shampoo dried it out so bad.1
This sample size was far too small to give an objective opinion. I have long medium length hair, it's thin and it was not enough at all. Not sure what others who have long hair would do. This really did nothing for me, then again, the sample was so tiny. I had to go back and rewash and recondition my hair because it didn't even seem to condition my hair at all.1
I have very thick hair, so this didn't work for me at all.1
this conditioner didnt do anything for me. It didnt give me moisture or shine. I had to use another leave in conditioner to even brush my hair without ripping it out.1
a hairstylist who blew out my hair once recommended i try the cristal line from kerastase. this was the last conditioner/shampoo I purchased before deciding to go more natural/organic with my hair products. that should give an indication of how satisfied I was with it. I bought this as well as the shampoo that matches it and i have to say - this brand is overpriced and overhyped. And I did not like the amount of silicones and synthetics in the list of ingredients. it wasn't horrible to use, just not in line with the kind of products I want to put on my head anymore. also... the amount of product for the price is kinda cray. shouts to birchbox for always having the best promos that make buying expensive stuff more fun and feel worth it.2
For the $, I expected something amazing. It's good but something less expensive works just as good. Doesn't detAngle or prevent frizz.
Just like the shampoo, this did not work any better than my regular conditioner. it is priced too high for the results.2
I'm still to find a good conditioner for long, straight, fine hair. This conditioner helps with detangling hair, but unfortunately it is rather heavy and weighs my hair down quite a bit. Instead of using conditioner, I have now resorted to oiling my hair with cold-pressed almond oil at night and shampooing it out the next day once a week. This has been working pretty well and has really stymied hair fall, and I'm still to find a conditioner that does a better job.2
This left my hair very greasy and oily after only the first day using it. I used up the entire sample on multiple washings just to be sure. Not good for my hair type.2
I was a bit underwhelmed by this conditioner. I have long hair, but it did nothing to help with tangles, shine, or frizz. It sort of is just a run of the mill conditioner. If you want a great shampoo and conditioner specifically for long hair, check out the Melu set from Davines (Birchbox sells a travel size!). I have had much better success with Davines products.2
