On the spectrum between bare skin and full-on foundation, we like to err on the natural side of things. That’s why we’re huge fans of Pür Minerals’s brand new mineral-based tint, which works simultaneously as a moisturizer, primer, sheer foundation, and SPF 20. The creamy formula smooths over all kinds of flaws—from stubborn lines to blotchy redness—with color-corrective pigments. At the same time, it plumps up skin with proven moisturizers and offers broad spectrum sun protection. The lightweight texture makes us forget we’re wearing any makeup at all.
I like this, it has good coverage. I think the shimmer only makes it appropriate for Summer though4
I like this tinted moisturizer a lot, but tinted moisturizers just aren't for me. I really prefer a full coverage, but this will be good for days when I just don't want to wear a whole lot. I'm excited to have the small size, but don't love it enough to splurge on a full size.3
You can say I sort of had high expectations for this tinted moisturizer and was greatly disappointed. Maybe it's because I only tried this on once but all it took was the little sparkles in the formula. I have a combination of oily and dry skin (mostly oily though) and with the little sparkles, it made my face look extremely oily. That, overall, was the only bad thing that made me rate this product like so.1
I'm not strictly eco-chic, but this product has way too many preservatives in it for me. And zinc on my face?! No thanks. I read my sunscreen labels carefully and avoid the metals as they react badly with my sensitive skin.2
I am still trying to size this one up. I purchase many of the Pur Minerals products...I am trying to figure out if this is better than some of the BB creams I am trying out.3
I prefer the mineral powders in lieu of liquid foundation, but this product was light and wasn't too bad. It was just ok, nothing special.3
i was really excited about getting a tinted moisturizer to try, but this one was awful. it went on sticky, was very dark (i got the light shade and although i have fair skin, i'm not exactly porcelain), didn't blend, and gave my skin a greasy sheen to it and somehow made my pores stand out. i tried mixing a little with my regular moisturizer and that helped a little, but as a stand alone so-called 4-in-1 product, this just doesn't make the cut.1
this is definitely a tinted moisturizer with a lot of coverage! Covers much more than your average tinted moisturizer. Medium was a bit too dark for my medium skin. Made my skin feel really hydrated. Definite downside was that it left my skin rather shiny after application, plus it has light reflecting pigments that really sparkle, further adding to the shiny factor. Definitely need to mattify with a powder.3
This is a great tinted moisturizer / BB cream! It gives my skin a nice glow, but is not too greasy. It also does not clog pores, which is a big plus! I am definitely considering purchasing it... I only wish Birchbox offered that option in its review questions.5
I was in the market for a good tinted moisturizer for summer and this might be the right thing. So far, I haven't found anything 100% perfect, but this is the best I've tried so far.4
