Finding the right color blush for your skin tone can be tricky. How bright to go? How pink? Thankfully, stila’s come up with a solution in a compact: custom color. A velvety soft pigment that reacts to your skin’s chemistry, the product literally creates a one-of-a-kind shade just for you. Formulated to minimize the appearance of wrinkles, pigmentation, and pores, this multi-tasking powder offers both color and coverage.
I was a little scared about the color of the blush when I got it but I always have trouble finding the correct shade for my skin tone since I have a very light skin tone. However I followed the instructions about not using a lot and it really did add color to my face! I don't look like a clown like I can with some blush!
I like the stila custom color blush . It lgives you a nice rose petal look. Like healthy flesh skin but you need to make sure you add on sparingly .( a little goes a long away)5
My cousin and I both purchased this. We have completely different skin tones, but this complimented us both perfectly! I was truly amazed.5
I love this blush, and it really works! I was very skeptical at first because it is very hot pink, but I applied it according to directions and it looks beautiful! I have gotten so many comments on how my blush looks "luminous" and "fresh". I have a very fair complexion and my friend has a very tan complexion, and it looks great on both of us!5
Do you want a pop of color? This is the product for you. The blush goes on perfectly every time! I never have to worry that I look like a clown or that my cheeks are not rosy enough. Do they have other colors? Because I need them all!5
Love this blush...it goes on sheer and smooth and leaves me with the perfect rosy cheek that I was looking for! Love it!5
This is one of my favorite blushes. It looks like a crazy bright pink in the compact, but it doesn't look like that on your skin... unless you want it to. I don't know about the whole "self adjusting" thing, but I do know this looks great on anyone who likes a rosy pink blush. On myself, this turns a rosy pink, with a slight pop of brightness. Don't be afraid to try this!!!5
Thanks to these wonderful product reviews, I could purchase with confidence since I was a little skeptical that this product adjusted to 'a shade just for you'; however, I was pleasantly surprised to see this bright pink powder transform into the subtle rouge I was searching for. I definitely recommend this product as a staple in every woman's makeup bag!5
This blush is incredible. I still think that the idea of a blush that changes to match your perfect shade is hooey, but somehow this neon pink blush doesn't look neon pink on me. I really like it. I took it into work and let a buddy try it on, and it looked great on her too. This is my new go-to blush!5
I watched that tutorial and decided to purchase both the items the makeup artist used - Stila Custom blush in pink and the Jouer tint in Peony.
The one downside to that video was that I had to really scrutinize the video a few times and then I had to hunt the Birchbox site to figure out which colors she used. She only said the brand and the name of the product, but not the specific colors! So I had to watch the video and switch between the video and the products pages just to narrow down VISUALLY which colors she was using. The brands were clear but the colors she used were not! That was time consuming. I was surprised that a Birchbox video tutorial was lacking such key info.
But I ended up figuring it out and got the ones I wanted.
They are amazing! A purchase I do not regret. Very beautiful pinks. They are lovely on the skin and simple to use. It helps to have that tutorial or I never would have done that mix. I tend to also just use them standalone, but mixing them is a nice change as well.
If you get either of these two products, you will be very happy with your purchase. I know I am. If it helps, I do have the Mad Men cream blush by Estee Lauder and that is one of my tops. I also have Cargo's pink powder blush as well - another top. So that kind of gives you an idea what I gravitate towards in blushes.
Hope this helps anyone!
