Ever since we watched the first season of “Gossip Girl,” we’ve been huge fans of Blake Lively’s flowing waves. So we were excited to learn that the blonde actress was the inspiration behind Kérastase’s new serum. Specially designed for long hair, the leave-in treatment adds a high-definition shine while sealing each cuticle (bye bye, split ends). Plus, the light, gorgeously scented formula won’t weigh down your strands.
I have red hair and experimented with highlights last year that left sections of my hair very dry. I also recently moved to the Midwest and discovered how dry my hair gets in the harsh winters. The only time my hair seems its smoothest is when I get it cut by my stylist and she gives me a blowout. But this stuff . . . I tell you, the first time I used it on my hair it was like new. Even the dried out highlights I'm growing out were soft and smooth. I rarely buy full size products, mostly due to cost but this was more than worth the price. I'll most certainly use the bottle this winter and through the rest of my highlight 'grow out' phase.5
I really liked this hair product! I have a lot of hair so I am always looking for something to help manage it!4
I've used similar things before... nothing that's worth the price, but it did what it said it'd do. It did have a really nice smell. I wouldn't buy it though.3
This is a nice product. I prefer some other brands, but it does the job! :) It did make my hair kinda greasy, but I think that's because I shouldn't use oils on my hair!4
Frizz free, but don't use too much if you have fine/thin hair. A little goes a long way. My hair is so shiny when I use it!5
I love the way this product leaves my hair feeling! I would definitely recommend it.5
I do like hair serum after blow drying, but have to be cautious about looking greasy as my hair is pretty fine and so it gets easily weighed down. (For reference; I can hold the whole thing up with a single small bobby pin.) I was pleasantly impressed with this one - I could use a small dollop to smooth and provide shine - and it provides shine better and in a much nicer way than any product I've used before; my hair looks shiny and not greasy! - and it hasn't weighed my hair down at all! The scent isn't super great to me, but it's not bad, just not really doing much for me. But I love this product and highly recommend it - especially to fine haired women who struggle to keep their hair from looking dull!5
Tamed my frizz and was really lightweight. It smelled like perfume but the scent was very faint. Overall works really well just not a fan of the price.4
This serum was okay. It smoothed my hair, but I already use another hair serum I really like and it will take me a long time to need more.4
I was delighted to see a Kerastase product in my October box, I have heard much about this brand but could never afford to actually buy anything! I was certainly not disappointed after I tried it for the first time, this serum is a definite new favorite of mine. My hair is long, color-treated, and is pretty abused. This serum did a wonderful job taming my frizzies and left my hair smooth and shiny. I applied a little extra to my ends because they need all the help they can get. My ends were a lot softer and didn't feel like straw after using this "miracle" serum.5
