Traveling can be a stressful experience—whether we’re going through airport security or catching a subway during rush hour. After spilling the contents of our purse in public one too many times, we turned to tili’s stylish reusable bags. They’re small enough to fit inside your purse or carry-on but large enough to hold all your lip glosses, loose change, or travel-sized toiletries. Each pack comes in three colorful varieties.
I thought people were exaggerating, but it's literally a glorified ziploc bag with an ugly pattern over it. Save yourself the money and buy some actual ones from stores -- you'll get 50x the number of bags for 1/2 the price.1
not a good addition to my October box. The bag is cheap. The zipper broke the first time I opened it. These are essentially just decorated zip lock bags- that cost about 5x as much. Very disappointing:( I would have preferred to get something more substantial.1
I loved the look of these bags and even bought an extra box to only find out how disappointing they were. Every closure tab on the bags came off of the top and I couldn't use it.1
It's basically a pretty ziplock bag. They look far cuter in the pic than IRL. I suppose if you want some cute ziplock bags, then go for it. But otherwise, I'd rather use something (anything) else.1
I was not impressed with this product at all. It says that it's for traveling....you have to put all your travel size items in a clear plastic bag, not one with designs all over it. It's cute I guess, just not worth it1
The bag was pretty...but it's basically a Ziploc bag with a fancy design. Save your money ladies and buy a box of Ziploc's!1
I thought this was a terribly cute bag. I had no reason to think that it wasn't what it claimed it was- a durable storage bag with a sliding zip top... it surely seemed to be just that. I've been using it to store some of the samples I've been getting from Birchbox, so it's been sitting in my cosmetic drawer.
Until yesterday. I needed an additional bag to travel with makeup and additional face-related paraphenalia, so I immediately thought of the Tili bag.
I'm disappointed to report that it spent all day (8am-11pm) in either my backpack or my purse, mostly full but not packed tight, and when I got home and unpacked it, I noticed several places on both sides of the bag where something either on the inside or outside of the bag had poked through it or stretched the plastic slightly. There wasn't anything actually sharp anywhere in my pack or purse, or in the bag.
In short, the Tili bag isn't actually any more durable than a brand-name Ziploc bag; in fact, a Ziploc freezer bag is, in my experience, MORE durable than this. They are horribly overpriced for what they provide to the consumer and completely misrepresent themselves as a product. I'm extremely glad that I didn't pay for it.
lamest product ever. a printed plastic bag. thx, I didn't need a sample of this. This was my first birch box. I almost cancelled my subscription because of this and the stupid hair tie. what a waste of $10.
Got one of these "bags" as a "bonus" in my Birchbox. I don't get it. It's basically a colorful ziploc baggie. The plastic is cheap and doesn't even seem to seal well. Might get one or two uses out of it.1
I was curious about this bag when I saw it online. When I received my birchbox I was honestly really surprised. It's a pretty version of what I pick up at the grocery store for my kid's lunchboxes. No clue what I'd do with it. Maybe when I go to the beach I'll put my cell phone in it. Hummm. I wouldn't buy more - it's a bonus that I'll have to search long and hard to put to use.1
