Traveling can be a stressful experience—whether we’re going through airport security or catching a subway during rush hour. After spilling the contents of our purse in public one too many times, we turned to tili’s stylish reusable bags. They’re small enough to fit inside your purse or carry-on but large enough to hold all your lip glosses, loose change, or travel-sized toiletries. Each pack comes in three colorful varieties.
These bags look cute, but I cannot think of a good reason as to why I would ever pay a premium price for them when regular plastic bags serve the same function for a fraction of the cost.1
The bags are cute and practical for travel but the slider lock mechanism broke the first week I used it. I would rather use a small cosmetics bag for my purse or if traveling by air a generic quart size bag.1
The bag I got was really ugly: an eye-searing geometric lime green and orange print. It also just looks like a screen printed sandwich bag, and I'm not sure why anyone would buy it. After using it, the closure stopped working after about a week. I was pretty disappointed to find this as one of my samples, I can't say I'd ever recommend it to anyone.1
When I received my birch box I was confused why a printed zip lock bag was included in my monthly sample box. I tried to be optimistic and put the bag away as a potential travel accessory.
It came time for a Holiday trip and I grabbed the bag and dumped bobby pins and travel pony tails delicately inside and zipped the bag for travel. After a couple hours on the road we arrived and I unpacked my toiletries only to find the zip top of these cheap sandwich bag had already broken off on the first "un-zipping". Needless to say I had to take a pair of scissors to this over priced frivolous bag jut to get my stuff out of it! I say skip the print and just pack a good old fashioned close top sandwich bag. Much more reliable with the fancy price.
I am super not a fan of this. When I received it in my first BirchBox I almost unsubscribed. I think the quality is poor, the little zipper wouldn't stay on and they really aren't very nice to look at. I got one in the yellow color, and it was hideous. I did use it for my travel shampoos, and it did hold them well without leaking anything... but like others mentioned, I have to pry open or pull apart the zipper. It came folded in half, and at the point where the zip portion was bent it would stop the zip action and either unzip or zip the other half. Overall I was very disappointed1
I don't know why these frivolous little things were included in the box. I'd much rather see something eco-friendly, like a reusable bag made of natural fibers.1
It's an expensive glorified ziplock, but not as useful. Not good for air travel because it isn't see through and the zipper piece at the top broke off the day after I got it. This went in the trash instead of my makeup kit.1
I was so excited for a cute bag to keep my items in when I travel for work, but after one short trip through the airport security line this bag didn't stand up. The seam between the closer and the bag came apart and I was completely bummed. Don't think I'll be investing until they make it more durable.1
I see no difference between this bag and a dollar store zip lock bag. I would much rather spend my money elsewhere rather than $9 on a few plastic bags...1
Pretty lame. Bummed that mine came and it was already damaged as if it had sharp objects poking it. Basically a glorified Ziplock. Would be much improved if it were sturdier.1
