Traveling can be a stressful experience—whether we’re going through airport security or catching a subway during rush hour. After spilling the contents of our purse in public one too many times, we turned to tili’s stylish reusable bags. They’re small enough to fit inside your purse or carry-on but large enough to hold all your lip glosses, loose change, or travel-sized toiletries. Each pack comes in three colorful varieties.
These are cute, but it's just a little plastic bag. I can't imagine I would ever buy these, because they don't even hold up as well as a normal zippy bag- mine ripped pretty quickly.1
I would not have purchased this product on my own, but figured I would give it a try when it came in my BirchBox. I was going to go out with some co-workers after work and wanted to bring some of my makeup with me so I tossed a couple of things in the bag and went to close it. It zipped shut, but the clasp fell off and I couldn't get it back on in rorer to open the bag. I ended up having to cut the bag open to get my stuff out. I ended up just using a freezer baggie which worked perfectly.1
I like to run my sturdier plastic travel bags through the dishwasher to make sure that they're clean (I don't want anything growing in there when I'm not travelling!) and these didn't even really hold up to a hot soapy rinse in my sink. Not for me!1
Not only are the designs ugly, $9 for some plastic bags??
If you have more money than you know what to do with....nah, I still wouldn't recommend these!
One nice thing I will say, they are made of a thick plastic and feel like they would hold up for more than a few uses.
Cute print, but it's a ziplock bag! Really? You need a transparent bag if flying in the U.S., so these are useless for that anyway.1
The first time I tried to use it for air travel the plastic ripped when I tried to zip it closed. A ziploc quart works so much better.1
Maybe slightly thicker plastic (maybe), but for that price I can definitely afford to buy and replace many ordinary plastic zipper bags. Guess I don't care that much if my plastic bags have designs on them.1
They're cute enough, but honestly not something I would ever spend the money on. A normal zipper baggy would be just fine for me.2
I have to say, I would not pay money for this product. I guess the concept is neat, but I just couldn't pay the price they are asking. Also my zipper broke after about 3 uses of zipping and unzipping.2
I loved the pattern of my bag and loved that it was included in my monthly box - I thought it was a neat sample and something I'd definitely use! Then I took it on my first trip, and within opening it 3-4 times the zip-loc style zipper completely ripped apart from the bag. I didn't have the bag overloaded, just a couple of small sample-sized things for an overnight trip. I was bummed, because the concept is really neat but I think they need to use more robust materials. As such I can't really recommend it as it is.2
