Traveling can be a stressful experience—whether we’re going through airport security or catching a subway during rush hour. After spilling the contents of our purse in public one too many times, we turned to tili’s stylish reusable bags. They’re small enough to fit inside your purse or carry-on but large enough to hold all your lip glosses, loose change, or travel-sized toiletries. Each pack comes in three colorful varieties.
I thought it as very cute. I used my bag to store my son's markers and action figures in my purse. It helped keep my purse a little more organized.3
I travel a lot, business and pleasure and have always used regular Ziploc bags in the past but they are totally weird to pull out at airport security. These bags have the same function but much more colorful and best part no one has to see your deodorant and whatever else you are carrying.4
I just cannot see myself paying good money for what is essentially a patterned ziploc bag. Even for a special occasion...there is no justification for shelling out the bucks. Cute but definitely not something I would ever pay for, and I'm not quite sure what to do with the sample bag I received.2
I mean its a fine bag, I will use it when I travel, but I much rather would have had a sample of eyeliner or something else in my birchbox, a ziplock bag has the exact same function and is much cheaper!1
I can not justify spending almost $10 dollars ($1/each) on ziploc bags. For traveling, I typically buy travel size products so I don't even hassle with baggies and messes.1
I like the designs. I like the quality. But if I really needed something like this, I'd just use either a ziploc bag or an actual cosmetic bag.2
i'm not sure if most people throw down 4 bucks for a simple bag, but to me this just isn't practical. the bag is super cute, and i'm sure i'll use it. but make no mistake - this is just your average, run-of-the-mill, quart-sized zipper bag. why does it need to cost $4/each when i can run to the store and get 100 ziplock bags for the same price?!? eh, at least it was free and now i have a cute ziplock bag!3
Coincidentally I received my August box about a week before I flew cross country to go to a wedding so the timing was excellent. For our carry on luggage, I used my new Tili bag and my boyfriend used a regular ziplock so I could test out which one was better.
I will start with the positives for this product:
They are cute! I like cute, so much nicer than a boring ziplock for taking on an airplane. The design also means that your products aren't out in the open for the world to see while you go through security. Also, this little bag was sturdy.
Because the design isn't see through we did get stopped at security and they had to empty out the bag and rescan the entire carry-on. This could have just been an isolated incident but it totally wasted our time. Also, they cost more than ziplocks.
I probably won't be buying them, but I was happy to get it in my Birchbox.
These bags are very cute and durable, but I do not have much need for them.3
Used my tili Bag for traveling from SF > JFK, and it's great! I fly alot, and it's nice to have a bag for my liquids that is cute but dispensable if anything explodes. A cute way to organize a purse too.4
