We never seem to have a headband when we need one, like those times we’re trying to salvage a bad hair day or running on a treadmill with sweaty bangs. Happily, these hip elastic bands are remedying the situation for good. Perhaps the most versatile hair accessory ever, they look equally awesome paired with your workout gear or a sweet sundress. This six-pack comes with a variety of fun colors—from orange to turquoise—to match every mood and outfit.
I was excited about trying this headband after watching the March video about possible goodies we would be getting. Unfortunately, this headband does not live up to its touted features. It definitely creased my hair and after an hour or so, slips right off my head. I may just be one of those girls with a head-shape that can't wear a headband...but either way, this isn't the miracle headband we've all been waiting form.1
Either my hair isn't coarse enough or my head is funny shaped- this headband wouldn't stay on for more than a few minutes, which obviously defeats the purpose of it. I've heard that it's great because it doesn't leave creases; however, I think it's too pricey based on what it is: a cut piece of elastic tied together.1
I have extremely soft, fine hair. If I use headbands like this, they continually slip off of my head. I have to buy the stretchy headbands that have rubber grip on the underside. I think they're super cute though, and wish I had hair that could handle them.1
The headband was alright. It was functional, however, I have thick hair, so it didn't really work well for me.1
Sorry, neither innovative or special. Many products out there do the same.1
I liked that it didn't squeeze my head too tight, but it just wouldn't stay put and kept falling off.1
Headbands very seldom work for me. Was hoping since this one is so expensive it would work. Unfortunately, it quickly slipped off my head like most other headbands. These look and feel very cheap as well. Gave it to my 6 year old and she likes it.1
The headband is not very effective. I have naturally straight blonde hair and the headband just slips right off of it. Maybe for thicker hair it would work? Personally I would NEVER buy it at the full price of $19. It is simply a cheap elastic ribbon with nothing special about it.1
I understand everyone loves these headbands because they aren't supposed to crease your hair. They don't crease my hair because they wont stay on... Not so excited about them. I will probably end up tripling this up for a ponytail, or using it to hold together files.1
I don't know if my hair wasn't too soft, not thick enough, or if my head is just funny shaped, but this headband did not stay on my head at all.
I was very excited about trying it out because I usually cannot wear the "traditional" headbands because I wear glasses, but I tried to wear this one just sitting around the house and it fell off within a few minutes. It was very comfortable, but the only way I could get it to stay was by putting bobby pins on it, which to me feels like it defeats the purpose of wearing a comfortable headband.
I can't imagine trying to wear it while doing any actual work, or working out. It would be a nightmare trying to keep track of it.
