Twiggy fans, rejoice: this London-based brand’s liquid liner lets you create mod looks in a flash. Rather than frustrating us with a hard-to-control brush tip, it features a pen-style applicator that’s completely goofproof. Beauty editors adore it too: This liner is an Elle Beauty Awards winner.
Almost felt dry and didn't work well. It was also a very small sample and the applicator was abrasive. Definitely won't be purchasing this.1
When I got it as a sample in my box, I fell in love with it straight away. But is it just me or my dumb luck, I've tried ordering three different times, and each time the very nib of it has been dry and I can't get the product to work. It just makes me very sad that I have to give up on this brand.1
I was really excited about this, it has a ton of fantastic reviews and I ordered the turquoise color...but I think I got a dry pen. When I go to apply the color nothing happens. The felt tip is dry a bone. The only way to get any color is to press the pen on to my hand and then the color will peak out of the sides. From what I could get, the color is beautiful. I looked up other application tips because maybe I was using it wrong...there's another eyeko pen that twists at the bottom. But not this one...it was just dry and sad. It could have been a fluke but still a bummer that this is what I got from birchbox. Hopefully their quality control takes note cause this was really disappointing.1
I wear black eyeliner every day (often liquid), so I was glad to have received a new brand to try. However, this product was terrible! The eyeliner hardly came out of the marker tip at all--that is, when it even wanted to come out. When I managed to actually get a little bit flowing, it made a very faint and inconsistent line, as though the liner had already been almost used up and was dried out. I really have to wonder if I received a defective sample, because most of the reviews are so positive. It is very disappointing, because I wanted to love this; it looked so easy to use.1
I cannot begin to tell you. It barely goes on without considerable amount of pressure and the tip is flimsy? I had to cut it to make it work for my eyes. :(1
This is the first Birchbox item I've had a bad experience with... It was dried out when I got it ):1
OK... so I see a lot of 5 star reviews here that must mean that mine was a dud eyeliner or something. It worked great for like a week, and then after that it was as if it ran out of liquid liner. I recap it every time I use it, so it's not like I let it dry out. It literally reminded me of when you would leave your markers uncapped and it wouldn't write afterwards. I would try shaking the liner and tapping it hard against the palm of my hand. That would get it working for a minute before it 'dried up' again. I was bummed, because I really liked the mascara sample I got in my box, so I was hoping that when I ordered the liner it would be great, too. =(1
I love the mascara from this brand and thought I'd fall in love with the eyeliner but its not that great. I feel like it dried out after the first use. It's very ineffective at delivering a great line. I won't be buying this one.1
I don't care for liquid liner. For me it is too dark and I could not smudge it. I used the sample twice then it was dried out.1
I liked the product for what it was, but I don't like how it goes on. It was difficult for me to apply compared to other similar eyeliners.1
