Twiggy fans, rejoice: This London-based brand's liquid liner lets you create mod looks in a flash. Rather than frustrating us with a hard-to-control brush tip, it features a pen-style applicator that's completely goofproof, allowing you to control the thickness of the line you create and vary the intensity of your look. Plus, the fade-proof formula will hold up all day and night. Beauty editors adore it too: This liner is a Teen Vogue Beauty Awards winner.
I can't use liquid liner (I don't have a steady hand), but this wiped off on my hand after a full minute. The eyeliner should be set by then. It would certainly smear right off my eye.1
Every now and then, there’s a product or a brand that makes you say “what the heck is this doing in a Birchbox?” That would be this eyeliner. Cheaply made, poor quality. It’s like drawing on your eyelid with a black Sharpie. A runny, wet black Sharpie that skips. The liner collected in the outer corners of my eyes, then ran into my eye and burned. Very hard to remove, too. Not remotely up to Birchbox’s usual high standards.
I was so excited to get this product because of the reviews and I used up my Mario Tricocci felt tip eye liner and it was something I got from a friend and have not been able to make it to the city to get another. I literally applied it to one eye and it dried out as I was about to apply to the second. I shook it, tilted it, stood it upside down for a whole weekend and nothing... Will be asking for a refund or exchange and most likely going back to the Mario one.
I was excited to receive a liquid eyeliner, since I use one often, but I wasn't expecting an allergic reaction. Most reviews praise this product, and I saw one lower rating reviewer who had the same reaction as me. I don't have super sensitive skin either, and after using this eyeliner once, my eyelids freaked out! Super puffy eyelids, burning sensation, and watery eyes. I had a sore red line where the eyeliner was, which eventually healed in about week. During that week, that line of skin at my lash line was flaky red and peeling. Not cool. Bad product. Forced to give a star to post.1
I would not recommend this product to anyone. I have been using another one consistently and decided to switch it up. Do not do that! I put it on one eye and it works perfectly for 10 seconds and then the tip drys out. I tried tilting it, shaking it, and standing it up straight to try to get the liquid to come out. Nothing works. I don't think this product should be on the market at all.1
The application was watery and it didn't last. Always looking for good black liners but i threw out the sample of this one after 2 tries. Ill stick to my stila liner.1
Wish certain eyeshadows the eyeliner goes on a different color. Not acceptable.1
I've never had an allergic reaction to any cosmetics, and don't have sensitive skin. I used this eyeliner in the morning for the first time, and by 3 pm, my eyes were almost swollen shut, puffy, itchy and red. Washed it off immediately and took an anti-histamine. They were still swollen all night, and after taking a benadryl, woke up with them swollen almost shut the next morning. This continued for close to 48 hours. Extremely disappointed in this product.1
I loathe this pen. For the money, it's a complete waste. It doesn't go on dark at all, you have to apply it multiple times to get the same look I do with my much cheaper liquid liner that I can buy in the store. Don't waste your time or money.1
I rejoiced when I received this eyeliner in my box. I've been using liquid liner for years and was excited about trying a new brand. But after wearing it for a few hours I noticed my eyelid was itchy. Once I removed the liner, exactly where it had been drawn on was bright red and puffy! I was INCREDIBLY allergic to it! Took days for the reaction to subside. I've never had this kind of a reaction to makeup before, but I am very sensitive. Looks like I'll be sticking to Stila Stay All Day Waterproof Liquid Eyeliner.1
