Dan & Dave Plaid Playing Cards

A better poker night starts with the cards you deal. Between the vintage-inspired plaid design, and replacing the classic joker card with an illustrated Buck, these U.S. Regulation playing cards feel like a relic from a lakeside Wisconsin lodge. Each of the decks, which come in “Striking Arizona Red” and “Casual California Blue,” is stacked with a few extras, including a recipe for the world's oldest known cocktail, the Sazerac. The opening flap of each handsome leatherette box challenges players with the words, “bad luck is bad play.”

plain and boring

I purchased these cards as a gift for my husband (David) to give to his friend, Dan. Unfortunately, the cards do not have the name of the company on them. In fact, they're prety boring and plain.

They look nice, but at the end of the day they are just another set of cards.

Very nice playing cards. They slide great. My boyfriend really liked them when I gave them to him as a gift. Would recommend for a gift.

Nothing Exciting
Purchased

They're playing cards. They look pretty good, but beyond that, they're nothing special. I'd give an extra point if they were coated, but they aren't, and they probably won't last much longer.

Aces anyone

Good product that takes some breaking in for best results. The cards are very slippery initially but do follow suit to better handling quickly. The attractive element of these cards is the pattern that in on the reverse surface. It is simply not cliche and can add a bit of zest to a card game. Worth it for a statement deck of cards.

What can I say? Theyre playing cards. They were out of the nice plaid design pictured so i got my boyfriend the blue patterned ones which don't look as nice but they worked just as well I'm sure. For the price of these though you might as well just purchase regular playing cards unless you want the nice designs.

I actually like these playing cards. They handle smoothly and fan out quite nicely. They are way better than the "robot" inspired bicycle cards that came in a Birchbox recently. I would purchase this again.

Contrast of design is dffierent

Perfect cards, nice design, but the cards's contrast is darker than in the online photo; which, gave a very different aesthetic.

Good Gift
Purchased

I got these cards for my husband. The package ripped a little when we opened it, it is a little flimsy. However it has not ripped since and we have had these for about a year. The cards are great quality and easy to play with. They do not stick together and are easy to shuffle and deal. Over all a good product.

I bought these playing cards for a stocking stuffer for my husband and they were just what i was expecting. Good quality and very masculine print.
