A better poker night starts with the cards you deal. Between the vintage-inspired plaid design, and replacing the classic joker card with an illustrated Buck, these U.S. Regulation playing cards feel like a relic from a lakeside Wisconsin lodge. Each of the decks, which come in “Striking Arizona Red” and “Casual California Blue,” is stacked with a few extras, including a recipe for the world's oldest known cocktail, the Sazerac. The opening flap of each handsome leatherette box challenges players with the words, “bad luck is bad play.”
Very nice playing cards. They slide great. My boyfriend really liked them when I gave them to him as a gift. Would recommend for a gift.3
They're playing cards. They look pretty good, but beyond that, they're nothing special. I'd give an extra point if they were coated, but they aren't, and they probably won't last much longer.3
These are cards that are far from flimsy. They seem to be made from high quality card stock and look like they'd endure a few drops of spirits during a heated poker match.5
I purchased these cards as a gift for my husband (David) to give to his friend, Dan. Unfortunately, the cards do not have the name of the company on them. In fact, they're prety boring and plain.2
Good product that takes some breaking in for best results. The cards are very slippery initially but do follow suit to better handling quickly. The attractive element of these cards is the pattern that in on the reverse surface. It is simply not cliche and can add a bit of zest to a card game. Worth it for a statement deck of cards.3
I've owned, collected, handled and destroyed many cards in the last 10 years. Dan and Dave create some of the best cards on the market. These feel great for magic as well as gambling, they're durable and don't stick.5
These are some classy playing cards. I like the cheekiness on some of the packaging. I would be proud pulling these out at a party for a game of poker. It's nice to play with something a little different every once in a while.4
These are probably some of my favorite playing cards I have ever purchased. I own over 200 decks of cards and the feel an style of this deck is unmatched!5
They look nice, but at the end of the day they are just another set of cards.2
