Both a trophy case and comfortable little sofa for your most important devices, the Converge docking station is a great way to charge your electronics and show them off at the same time. Use this and you’ll never have to worry about plugging in your fancy gadgets in places where they can fall or get stepped on.
Bought this for my hubby for a gift, and it was before all the docking stations were at a more reasonable price level. It was great for a while, but if you don't set the devices in properly, and I mean specifically fit them into the groove each time, it will start to bend and fray the cords..
Great for smaller items, but iPads and such will definitely wreck some cords pulling them through the bottom after a while.
The sticker that came on it was ridiculously difficult to get off, ended up using goo gone and a sponge! So not worth the hassle. The docking station is as described, functions well for charging 4 items. The light on it is very bright, and doubles as an unwanted night light. Does its job.3
I purchased this for my boyfriend and he loves how all his electronics can doc and be organized. I may buy one for myself!5
I returned this item, it's not as easy as you'd like it to be. The cords don't sit perfectly for you to easy dock your devices.1
This is the second week I have been using this charging station and I really like it. Its sleek design helps it fit in with the decor in my room without looking bulky and taking up too much space. It looks great and charges well. I would be careful about placing an iPad on it, though, because the cord behind it can push your devices forward. Overall, I would recommend this to a friend.4
The Quirky Converge has managed to make order out of the clutter of electrical cords on my desk. I have not had any problems so far. The only trouble so far is getting my smart phone to sit on the stand while charging my iPad or Kindle at the same time and that is due to the location of the plug in on the phone. It just took a little getting used to, that's all. For the cost, the Quirky Converge is worth it.4
The concept of this was great and it certainly is sleek and modern. However, after a week (and desposal of the packaging) my i pad and new iphone could not be charged by this device. The ipad and i phone both said the device was not supported be apple! So I bought a sleek but essentially useless item which frankly, stinks. I plan to return. Wish i could give no star since this doesnt work.1
I've been using this for a few months now, it comes in handy and keeps my iPhone and iPad connected and charging when not in use. It doesn't come with the cables, but it has plenty of USB connections and the design goes nicely with the aesthetics of Apple products4
looks better in pic than in practice. not all plugs work all the time. The retails for 79 on amazon and sold for 39 here, with my birchbox points it was worth a try. It fits about 5 usb plugs so it s 2 smart phone, an ipod and an ipad. but not all of the plugs work all of the time. :(3
As a family with lots of USB chargers this is a nice unit. I like the lines and it isn't as bulky as other charging stations I have seen. Our iPhones and iPad do not stand up like in the picture, but rather lay on their side(phones) or on the counter(ipad)but overall we love having all our electronics in one localized spot3
