Let’s start with a disclaimer: most hair treatments are more or less conditioners masquerading under fancy names. Not so with Ojon’s creamy balm, which goes beyond moisturizing to actually repair many types of hair damage—from split ends to uncontrollable frizz. A unique pre-shampoo treatment, it transforms into a rich oil upon contact with the heat of your palms, and it’s designed to be applied directly to dry hair. After just one use, your hair will be stronger, shinier, and softer.
I'm not a huge fan of this product. The fact that you use it before shampooing and on DRY hair made it difficult to use, in my opinion. I also felt that it left my hair greasy, because it felt like I couldn't "get it all out," after I applied!3
Been using this for years. I first tried it when QVC was the authorized retailer for this and I have not stopped. Its a pre- shampoo treatment that you leave in then wash out. Leaves the hair soft and its idea for chemically treated hair5
Used this product for quite some time and was glad to find it on Birchbox. It is a great deep conditioner. Rehydrates my hair great. The only downside is I wish it smelled a little bit nicer. But I like what it does for my hair and I am willing to deal with the smell.4
I have tried soooooooooooo many hair masks out there. I have even made hair masks in the kitchen but none have ever been better than this one. If you want to bring an incredible shine, durability and frizz control to your hair than buy this hair mask. But please keep in mind that the smell isn't exactly the best. It has a kind of smokey weird smell. I personally do not like it but who cares because it saves my hair.5
So mosterizing .This hair mask is so restoitive.I love to use this as a hair mask with a cap and a hot towle.5
I put this on before I go to bed, put a shower cap over it. Wake up, shampoo hair & it is so soft & silky. The smell is delicious!!5
This conditioner wasn't the miracle I was hoping for. I have heavily highlighted hair. I liked it enough, but with the hefty price tag it's not something I will likely repurchase.3
For the price of this, it's insanely time-consuming to work through the hair, it has a bad smell, and it isn't miraculous in it's results. My hair is thick and curly and it did the work of a leave-in-conditioner (Which I can get for 1/3 the price). I can see how this might work better for someone with maybe more color damaged hair or fine hair.1
I am constantly dyeing and styling my hair, so I love pampering myself with a good hair treatment to keep my locks healthy. Ojon is a brand I've been wanting to try for ages, so I was quite pleased to give this treatment a go. This is a proper hair mask! This isn't the type of thing that you throw in during a regular shower and rinse out a couple of minutes later. Instead, it's thick and meant to coat your hair for at least 20 minutes. Applying the oil was a bit messy due to having to be warmed up in your hands first, so there was a bit of a learning curve. And it was definitely a little uncomfortable sitting with greased up hair for nearly half an hour. However, after shampooing it out and letting my hair air-dry, my tresses felt soft and revitalized for the first time in years, so I'd say it was definitely worth the trouble.4
This treatment is one of my favorites; one I always have on hand when needed. It has a rich scent, and its thick consistency makes it very easy to apply. It does exactly what it is supposed to do, and makes my color treated hair much softer and shinier.5
