Let’s start with a disclaimer: most hair treatments are more or less conditioners masquerading under fancy names. Not so with Ojon’s creamy balm, which goes beyond moisturizing to actually repair many types of hair damage—from split ends to uncontrollable frizz. A unique pre-shampoo treatment, it transforms into a rich oil upon contact with the heat of your palms, and it’s designed to be applied directly to dry hair. After just one use, your hair will be stronger, shinier, and softer.
this stuff really does make your hair feel good - I just don't have a ton of damage to repair (I don't color or use many products in my hair)4
I have had products from this brand before and it really weighed my hair down so I am just not a fan of this product or the brand in general. I'll stick with Amika.3
This product made my hair feel very oily after washing it out and doing my normal hair routine. My hair didn't have any volume or bounce to it afterwards either, and felt dirty much faster than normal.1
I love this product. It made my hair really soft. I used it as a overnight treatment. It is a bit heavy if you dont wash it out. Really cool how it is solid and turns into an oil as you apply.5
I had tried this before from Sephora and the sales person swore by it. It smells horrible but its also not super effective so its not worth using at all. I would definitely get something else.1
Well, this was not a bad product, but not good either. I tried and followed the instructions and found that I wasn't crazy about the scent, and that i wasn't crazy about how remarkable the product was or what it did to my hair, it was just the same if not worse than using coconut oil, in my opinion it was not worth the cost, coconut oil does the same exact thing, smells better, is cheaper and does not make you break out for a week like this product did for me.4
It was a little heavy for my fine hair. I think those with thicker hair may have a better experience.3
I enjoyed it but it was kind of time consuming! I already use something else that I love!5
This was the last product I used from my Birchbox because it is time consuming. I sat with it in my hair for around 30-40 minutes. The effect this had on my hair was fantastic - my hair was definitely smoother, less frizzy, super soft, and when I looked for split ends I couldn't find any (I haven't had a hair cut in almost 4 months now). My hair did look repaired. HOWEVER - this smells terrible. It wasn't a HUGE bother because it washes out, but if you're very sensitive to smells then I would be very wary of purchasing this product. I'm still debating whether or not I plan to purchase it. The effect was fantastic, but I'm not sure I have the time to deal with it or if the smell is worth it.4
This was a great conditioner with a great smell. Loved it.4
