We’re sweet on this organic tinted balm trio. A Birchbox exclusive, each set features three gorgeous shades. Acai is a soft shimmery pink, Sweet Pea is a coppery rose, and Holly Berry is a sheer crimson. Rich in antioxidants, the moisturizing formula eases dryness, while the concentrated mineral pigments add a pop of color to drab lips (hooray!).
I am now obsessed! I don't wear lipstick only light color gloss but this is an amazing combo between the two. Don't let the dark colors stearin you away. They are light enough with a hint of color and feels amazing. I absolutely love them. I was going to give 2 away but have to keep all 3 and order more.5
I wanted to love these but the colors didn't work with my fair complexion. They were either too pink or too orange.2
My favorite is by far the sweet pea because it a more natural look, but they all glide on smooth. It's got a light menthol element that adds a crisp texture to the product. Holly berry is a bright red, but a more muted feel to it almost maroon i nature. Acai is a bit light, but it again has a nice tint to it. Frankly, I'm a little disappointed with it drying my lips out as opposed to moisturizing them.
My main complaint is that on two of them the the twist to bring the product back down doesn't work, and on the one that does, it goes down on application. Love the production, but the application design needs more thought.
I'd probably buy sweet pea again since it is light, but I won't likely be trying more colors. I look forward to improvements to the product---I'd definitely want to try anything new from Alima Pure again!
I thought this sounded neat to try. Not super happy with them the color is faint and the texture of the lip balm is off and feels strange on my lips. dont really reccomend them.3
Moisturizes and adds a subtle color, with a fresh subtle flavor. Big fan, I would definitely purchase more from Alima!4
This reminds me of the natural brand you can get at any retailer. No luxury here. It is only slightly tinted and the mint in the product actually makes my lips peel. If you are looking for a balm, this is not your product.2
nothing notably spectacular, but moisturizing with great color payoff. a much better alternative to the bees ones in drug stores, at a good price point. i am glad to have these in my rotation.4
I find them very drying. An average lipstick is less irritating.
The tint bleeds a bit.
There's a weird musty odor underneath the initial mint.
And they get rough, with little hard balls in them after awhile. I initially thought there was something wrong with mine, like a fungus growing in them, but other internet reviews make it sound like just the way the product works.
I really like the color of this lip balm. It goes on smoothly and has a nice taste on your lips. Just enough color but not too dramatic. A good choice .4
I like to use lip balm but also needed a little color on my lips. This product does both. It is moist, not waxy. I can put it on several times a day if I want. There's a light tint but not overwhelming. I am a "no makeup" kind of person and this gives my face a nice fresh look while protecting and moisturizing my skin, without looking made up.5
