It’s a common misconception among guys that a T-shirt is a T-shirt. Not so. This T-shirt is a work of art. Dispensing with the typical baggy, boxy cut, this tee pays homage to the past while cutting a distinctly modern silhouette. The Brando Cut is an ideal shirt for going out, staying in, or, you know, hollering that special someone’s name in the streets (though if this is your style of choice, odds are you’re a good deal more advanced in the science of seduction than Brando’s character in A Streetcar Named Desire). I received the Barking Irons Brando Cut T-Shirt in August's Birchbox. I noticed the shirt on the website before I got it in the Box. This is no joke, I wear it several times a week. I wash it and it's only gotten better!4
What an awesome item for the box! I really appreciated having another casual T to be able to throw on and look comfortable, confident and cool. Dress it up with a summer blazer, or dress it down with jeans.5
Too often tee shirts are just boxy pieces of fabric with not regard for the man wearing them other than to hide him. Barking Irons Brando Cut T-Shirt is not like the rest. First off, it doesn't come down to your knees like so many others do. Likewise, there is not a bolt of material around teh mid-section that a team of dolphins could swim in. It's cut perfectly across the chest and in the arms for most human males amd is a t-shirt that actually makes you look better.5
Love the feel of this shirt. Super old school cut and looks nice. I wish the torso was a tiny bit longer but it'll do. Thanks Birchbox for the sweet T.4
What an awesome set of t-shirts. To bad there isn't more selection of colors or I'd pair another set. Definitely my new favorite brand of basic t-shirts to wear.5
Thought this shirt was awesome. However, I'm 6'4 so the sample was a little short on me. I've already ordered more in the size up. Can't wait to get them.4
Normally I wear a Large t-shirt in American Apparel branded shirts and they are the perfect fit. I got a large shirt from this company and I felt like I was trying to put on a kids shirt. It was tight in all the wrong places. If I had eaten a sandwich I'm pretty sure the shirt would have busted at the seam or rolled up over my stomach. Not for me.2
I keep searching for the perfect tee... And this is just about there. The material is among the most comfortable I've ever worn, and the cut really is the best I've seen in a tee. However, I'm pretty tall (at 6'1") and also pretty lanky with a long torso. This shirt (in a small) barely comes down to the top of my belt when I'm standing up straight. It's fine for a casual undershirt, but on its own... it doesn't quite make the cut for me.4
Great t-shirt. I like the shirt, but the sizing runs really small. Like really small. The cut is nice, but it's hard to wear it in public. I'll try a bigger size.4
Stiching is good, material is good, cut is fantastic. Only thing else I could ask for is a v neck option5
