As much as we appreciate the old cucumber on the eye trick, we like to save our veggies for our salads. Instead, we use BORGHESE’s soothing eye compresses. They’re formulated with a blend of botanical extracts to gently refresh the sensitive skin around your eyes, de-puffing and brightening even the most sleep-deprived complexion.
I get where the company is going with this product but honestly it fell short of expectations - I did not notice any difference in eye puffiness etc, and it wasn't as soothing as I hoped after a long day.3
I don't have too much of the puffy eyes but it did make my eye area look less tired looking.3
They were nice and soothing, but after only one use I did not see a difference in the appearance of my eye area.3
I myself have never used a eye compress of any other kind other than the cool gel packs that you put in the freezer. So I guess this is a blind review. I don't really know when I would use these on a regular basis I don't pamper myself that much.. but maybe I should. I thought today would be a good day to give these a try it had been a lazy sunday and I was having a huge headache so I took some excedrine and downed a bottle of cold water and went off to my room for a nap but before doing so I put on the Borghese Eye Compresses. And after a while I dosed off and when I woke my head was feeling better and my eyes seemed cool and refreshed. I didn't feel like they where super moisturized or anything special just kinda like that awake fresh feeling which was nice. I didn't smell anything from pads when had them on..I think they might of been a bit nicer if they had a peppermint or Lavender scent. Not sure if they did anything for puffiness or dark circles because I did not have any to start with. I would say these are a nice extra if you happen to have them laying around. I would have like to try them more than once to really see if I like them enough to shell out the cash for them. They really are not that expensive when you look at price per pad. I would be more likely to pay that if it came in a pack half the size for half the price. Since it would not be something I would reach for on a regular basis. It does make me a bit curious to what other brands are out there to try.Over all from what I can tell I would give product a B.3
Hard to tell whether this product was effective after just one use so just on the fence.3
Ooh la la...my eyes feel refreshed and so cool. But the big question is, will they help with my crow's feet, puffiness, and circles under my eyes?3
I think that you have to use this product more than once to see results..because I didn't really see where these did anything for me.3
I love the idea of these for a spa-like masking experience, but I'm a little sensitive around the eye area and unfortunately this product irritated the heck out of me.2
I'm sure these are great for someone who might NEED them. But they did nothing for me.2
I did not notice any change in the look of my eyes after using the Borghese eye compresses, nor did i feel any changes other than a mild burning sensation. They were awkward to use, and absolutely did not shape to fit my eye sockets. Because of this, they were quite useless as most of the compress was not even touching my eye lids. Personally, I would not use this product, but perhaps it would be more useful for someone with significant aging/puffiness around the eyes.2
