We’re already face mask devotees, and these single-use packs make it easier for us to get our fix. Each mask is a majorly refreshing pick-me-up after a day at the beach or before a big night out; they can even be used as a skin saver during a long flight. Smooth one on right before landing and you’ll arrive even glowier than when you left (you may want to warn your row-mates, though).
Wow. Did not like at all. I usually enjoy masks, but the feeling of having the damp cloth stuck to my face was very unpleasant. Couldn't make it 20 mins, my face was getting itchy.1
I was really hopeful about this product. I read that it would make my skin feel soft and smooth. I opened up the package and pulled out the mask and it took me a moment to figure out where my eyes, mouth and nose were suppose to go. The mask provided did not look anything like the mask on the package. Also, there weren't any instructions about application--I turned the mask a couple of times before figuring out where my eyes, mouth and nose was to go. I left it on for 20 minutes as directed and didn't feel anything while it was on. After the time was up I took it off and massaged what was left on my face into my skin--as the package directed. Ewww! It felt sticky on my skin and didn't rub in. The directions say to rub the product in and you don't need to wash your face. I ended up washing my face because it was so sticky.1
I have very sensitive skin so I was cautious using this new product. I cleaned my face and put the mask on. It bothered me right at the begging, itching my skin. I left it on for the full time and followed all the directions. My skin was rough and itchy for days! A few days later, i noticed that some of the skin on the sides of my face was peeling off as if i had a chemical burn! I'm not 100% sure if it was related to this mask but I won't take my chances again!2
Loved the way it felt on my face but wouldn't recommend it for people with sensitive skin. Left my face red and itchy but after time I could tell a noticeable difference in the brightness and smoothness of my skin just not worth the itch. Like other reviewers said there was a lot of extra product.2
Not really sure what the point of this is, given that you just rub the excess onto your skin at the end. shouldn't it just be a cream then?2
not very happy with it i expected more out of the one sample to convience me to buy more2
I really didn't notice much of an improvement after using the mask. A little disappointing, as I was eager to try it out.2
Too much product on mask, too messy, left over does not just run into skin, face felt sticky for a long time, no real noticeable differences.2
This product was hilarious to use. I pretended like I was a ghost while it was on and tried to scare my cat, but I'm not sure it did much more than moisturizing would have done. I liked trying it out, but it seems like its fulfilling an artificial need (I know, what beauty products aren't). Still, I like getting things like this from Birchbox, even if I don't necessarily like the product; it's fun and new and sometimes I get to scare my cat.2
The mask left a weird film on my face, the directions say to rub the rest of the mask in and leave it be. I slept with the product on my face and it still didn't evaporate after 8 hours. It says to not wipe the rest of the mask off but it was so uncomfortable/sticky I had to. I'll stick to my clay masks...2
