We’re already face mask devotees, and these single-use packs make it easier for us to get our fix. Each mask is a majorly refreshing pick-me-up after a day at the beach or before a big night out; they can even be used as a skin saver during a long flight. Smooth one on right before landing and you’ll arrive even glowier than when you left (you may want to warn your row-mates, though).
Did not like it AT ALL. Way too wet, it was dripping everywhere, and the smell was so overwhelming I only kept it on a minute then washed my face.1
I thought the mask was okay but I have a brightening mask I use by Kate Somerville that I like much better.1
Didn't like this at all. It felt like cold wet toilet paper on my face and was slimy. I couldn't even leave it on the whole time cause it felt gross.1
I tried this mask and rubbed the remaining formula into my skin thinking it would absorb. WOW. This made my oily skin even oilier. :( Not good.1
just used the mask according to the directions. left my face sticky after removing; a bit cumbersome to use. ill stick to the facial masks in the tube.1
I'm not into this kind of paper-ish mask. It's so slick and slippery you have to relax for the full 20 min because otherwise it slips off your face. And when you remove it there is all this excess product you're supposed to rub in, but it's so slick and shiny I just couldn't help but wash it off. From this one use I couldn't tell if there was any real difference in the brightness or evenness of my complexion.1
This product is definitely not for me. I think it is odd and slightly creepy. I would much rather use a liquid mask so you can apply it thoroughly all over your face. One size is not going to fit all and if I am going to pay for a mask I want to get even coverage.1
I'm just going to put this out here now - this will straight up make you look like you came from Silence of the Lambs! It was hard not to laugh while I was putting it on because I felt so ridiculous.
More relevant review - this is a sopping wet mask and slides off your face easily. If you like to be able to do other things while using a mask, this is not for you, particularly because this is a 20 minute mask.
It smells like a faint astringent because that's what it is. It isn't a bad smell, but it isn't a fun one like tea tree or chocolate or anything. I saw no noticeable difference in my face's "brightness" or texture after use, but I obviously can't speak to what would happen with a regular regimen.
The instructions say "no need to rinse," and to rub the leftover product into your face and neck after you're done. This...this I cannot do. It left a shiny, sticky film all over my face that feels gross and weighing on my skin. I had to rinse it off.
I liked trying it, but I would not purchase this product. The nearly required downtime due to the product design, plus the lack of "results," plus the residue just make it a blah experience.
Wow. Did not like at all. I usually enjoy masks, but the feeling of having the damp cloth stuck to my face was very unpleasant. Couldn't make it 20 mins, my face was getting itchy.1
I was really hopeful about this product. I read that it would make my skin feel soft and smooth. I opened up the package and pulled out the mask and it took me a moment to figure out where my eyes, mouth and nose were suppose to go. The mask provided did not look anything like the mask on the package. Also, there weren't any instructions about application--I turned the mask a couple of times before figuring out where my eyes, mouth and nose was to go. I left it on for 20 minutes as directed and didn't feel anything while it was on. After the time was up I took it off and massaged what was left on my face into my skin--as the package directed. Ewww! It felt sticky on my skin and didn't rub in. The directions say to rub the product in and you don't need to wash your face. I ended up washing my face because it was so sticky.1
