We’re already face mask devotees, and these single-use packs make it easier for us to get our fix. Each mask is a majorly refreshing pick-me-up after a day at the beach or before a big night out; they can even be used as a skin saver during a long flight. Smooth one on right before landing and you’ll arrive even glowier than when you left (you may want to warn your row-mates, though).
Although I love the idea and the refreshing feeling of the mask it didn't do anything special for my skin. Maybe I will try the other varieties of the mask but I'm not sure though.3
After receiving the mask in my Birchbox, it was the LAST thing I tried. Not sure why, but I was not super excited to try it. Well my husband was out of town and I was having a spa night on my own at home. I decided to pull this bad boy out and give it a whirl (especially since he wasn't home to make fun of my mask!) I enjoyed the nice cool, relaxing sensation the mask gave me. After 20 minutes I took the mask off and rubbed the rest of the oil in. For the past 3 days my skin has been nothing but glowing. I was shocked how well these worked, my dry areas are nice and moisturized while my oily spots seem to be calmed down. I would def purchase these if they were not quite so expensive, however they are for sure on my wish list!4
it leaves a sticky residue on the skin and it is awkward to put on2
I really loved the way the mask made my face feel so refreshed. My skin also felt smoother when I took it off. My kids were a little freaked out when they saw the mask on my face but then my five year old daughter had to try it. I really like this product.5
Even after rubbing the product in, I felt residue on my skin. I used the mask before bed and my skin still felt weird in the morning. While the mask was on though it felt great!2
did not like this mask. I found it to be messy and impractical to keep on. Unlike gel masks that the product sticks to your face, this is a peice of cloth that you lay on and have to try to be inactive while using or it will fall off. Just not practical for my busy lifestyle, I like a mask that I can still go about housework and such while using.2
"actually dripping with good-for-you ingredients" is what the description says. it is a wet piece of folded up paper, that is literally dripping. Yeah it is going to moisturize. But I dont need to sit around for 20 minutes with a paper stuck (not very well) to my face with what ever the liquid was drip all down the front of me. Save your time and money, invest in a good serum and apply before moisturizing. It has the same effects with less mess.2
This did not just "rub in" the excess like it said. I was sticky and goopy after taking the mask off. And it didn't make my skin feel or look any different. The best part of a mask is the drying and peeling off part!! So disappointed with this.2
I thought this mask really improved the condition of my skin after one use. My skin looked so healthy after I took the mask off, I couldn't believe it. This isn't something that I would use all the time because it's so rich and applying it is time consuming (basically you have to sit still doing nothing so it doesn't fall off). It seems like it would be perfect for those times when my skin is really stressed, or when my skin needs to recover from the weather (e.g. wind, sun).4
Smelled nice. I shouould have read ingrediants though I am allergic to one of the main ingrediants so it broke my skin out. But if your not allergic to mullberries I am sure this would work nice. I did like the actual mask though it was soft and a good size.2
