As self-confessed blow dryer addicts, we put our hair through a lot of stress. To keep our strands from a styling-induced meltdown, we've been using this extra hydrating leave-in conditioning mist. It doesn't just protect hair from heat damage; it also doubles as a color protector and UV shield. The sulfate-free formula sinks in quickly and has a pretty floral scent thanks to white freesia, amber, and musk. Natural conditioners—including black currant, soy yogurt, algae, and yerba mate—combine to restore hydration to dry hair, while the unique UV/Color Polar Shield protects dyed or sun-exposed locks. Soy and vegetable proteins repair damage caused by heat and chemical styling. And don't forget about the defrizzing factor—anti-static technology tames flyaways, making hair more manageable and easy to style.
I was excited to get this product because I like spray conditioners but the smell is so strong it smells like a perfume an old person would wear I can't use it1
I liked everything about this product EXCEPT the scent. The product worked great but smelled awful.
I used this after a using a leave in conditioner spray and my hair is frizzier and drier than before. My curls look the worst they have ever looked. I will give it one more try.1
When I sprayed this, I thought that this brand doing Birchbox is a disservice because it smells so bad. I can't believe they promote themselves with this smell - combination of spoiled and old-school beauty salon! But....it may actually do one job well. Removing frizz. I absolutely didn't have time to do my hair and just blow-dryed my bangs and flat ironed the pieces around my face. A day later, my hair looked like I actually did it! I don't know what to do! I want to use it, but I can't get past the smell.1
I did not like this product at all and that mainly has to do with how awful it smelled. I reluctantly tried it out, but was very worried it would make me smell bad for the whole day. Thank goodness the scent faded. I don't find that this works particularly better than the last leave-in conditioner I was sent. Add an awful smell on top of that and I don't think I will ever buy this for myself.1
I have very fine, curly hair. This product smelt a little off-putting to me and did not add much value to my daily hair routine.1
this didn't do much for me. The smell was awful, very cocoa butter and I didn't feel like smelling like that all day. I won't be buying this full sized, there's nothing special about it.1
I did not care for this product. It left my hair feeling sticky instead of smooth. It did not smell particularly strong, however, which is good.1
Felt like it made my hair greasy. Made no real difference. Would not buy. Don't like the spray nozzle. Maybe it was just me but mine leaked1
I think this may be my least favorite sample of all the ones Birchbox has sent me in the past year. As someone with baseline frizzy hair, I felt like this spray actually made it worse, MUCH worse. I used it at least 3 times, and every time I was very displeased with what my hair looked like. I tried it as a stand-alone conditioner, which was not a good idea. The next time I used it in addition to my normal conditioner which didn't make much difference. Oh well.1
