As self-confessed blow dryer addicts, we put our hair through a lot of stress. To keep our strands from a styling-induced meltdown, we've been using this extra hydrating leave-in conditioning mist. It doesn't just protect hair from heat damage; it also doubles as a color protector and UV shield. The sulfate-free formula sinks in quickly and has a pretty floral scent thanks to white freesia, amber, and musk. Natural conditioners—including black currant, soy yogurt, algae, and yerba mate—combine to restore hydration to dry hair, while the unique UV/Color Polar Shield protects dyed or sun-exposed locks. Soy and vegetable proteins repair damage caused by heat and chemical styling. And don't forget about the defrizzing factor—anti-static technology tames flyaways, making hair more manageable and easy to style.
I was excited to use this product and used it twice after washing my hair. My hair smelled good and felt a like it weighed my hair down a bit. I prefer other hair products that i purchase elsewhere.3
This works great as a detangler. But, the smell isn't great- it's a bit "dusty" smelling. Also it has UV protection, which is great, but no heat protection for styling products as far as I could tell.4
This is not my favorite product. The smell is not great, but the good news is that the smell doesn't actually remain on your hair for long. I would not buy this for that reason. Otherwise it detangled well.
I have very long hair and used this product straight out of the shower (after shampooing it with a "clean" non-conditioning shampoo) and it worked great! Took out tangles easily and left my hair smelling fresh and not greasy or weighed down.5
I have very long, below waist hair. A few sprays after washing and my hair is tangle free. Stays very smooth, soft and mostly in place all day, but not hairspray crunchy.4
This product is great if you need UV protection or heat protection, but I just usually let my hair air dry. This makes it softer but there are other, cheaper, leave-in conditioners that do that as well. Depending on your hair type, this may not be necessary for your hair. Additionally, I wasn't a huge fan of the smell.4
As a hair stylist I'm very critical of hair products and this leave in made my hair very soft and easy to comb through. I would definitely recommend this product to clients.5
The frizz did not stay away but nice clean scent and feel4
My expectations were a lot higher than what I was given, it smelled horrible and didn't work very well.3
I got this in my birchbox in November 2014. It made my hair so soft and the scent was great. Today (June 2016), I found the bottle in a drawer and decided to use it today. I sprayed it on my hair and THEN realized it smells terrible. I seriously smell like the reptile section at Petco. Weird, but it does work great before blow drying!5
