We’ve long been fans of English Laundry’s Notting Hill scent for men—so we were thrilled when the brand came out with this brightened-up version just for the ladies. This fresh, classic scent opens with notes of bergamot, mandarin, and cassis. The heart of the fragrance is pure walk-in-the-garden bliss, blending jasmine, rose, and cyclamen with herbal and green notes. Warm wood, vanilla, and amber round out the scent.
I like this perfume scent most days that I've worn it. I'm pregnant so some days my sense of smell is thrown off and I can't do it. It smells really pleasant and almost like one of my husband's colognes that he and I really like. The only annoyance is the wand applicator instead of a spray bottle.
5This is a nice perfume, but not quite my style or preference. It is just a little bit too girly for my taste, a little too much flowery and almost candy-like scent. I prefer muskier fragrances, but it's not a bad scent. I think if you like floral and sweet, then you will like this perfume.
2I really enjoyed the smell of this in the bottle and was hoping for a new perfume. However, after putting it on my skin, I had several people throughout the day tell me that I smelt like beer. (No, I do not drink!!) I was really hoping to like this, it smells great in the bottle, just not with my chemistry I guess.
