Breakout-prone gals have it tough. Sun exposure can aggravate skin, but chemical and perfume-heavy sunscreens can cause flare-ups too. Get back outside with this fragrance-free moisturizing sunscreen. Created by board-certified dermatologist Dr. Julie Pena, the SPF 50 formula is designed to protect your skin and simplify your skincare routine.
Moisturized really well, but went on pretty thick. However, I think it made my face break out.2
I was excited to give this product a try since I am woefully pale but love the sun, and am also prone to breakouts from sunscreen. I applied it without makeup, as I was going to be taking a walk on a hot day. It felt more like sunscreen than moisturizer, but didn't burn or cause any immediate reaction on my sensitive skin. After the walk, it looked like the sunscreen was on the surface of my skin, as if it wasn't ever rubbed in (although it appeared to be about 15 min. before the walk). I could see that some of it had dripped as well, so I wouldn't consider this sweatproof. This product had three great qualities-I didn't get a sunburn, it was easy to wash off with soap, and it didn't irritate my skin or cause any new breakouts. I would definitely try it again if it wasn't so expensive!4
This moisturizer is too oily for my skin. I prefer YonKa sunscreen moisturizer because it's matifying and quickly absorbs into the skin.2
I received a sample of Likewise Facial Moisturizer + Sun Protectant SPF 50 Normal to Oily in my June Birchbox. This product is light and non-greasy, and it leaves my skin feeling soft and nourished. I really like the fact that it contains sunscreen, but I'm not a huge fan of the sunscreen-like smell. Although it's clearly a good product, I'm not sure that it's worth the price for a full-sized tube, as I've found other, cheaper products that seem to work just as well.4
I really liked that this product is not heavy or greasy feeling.5
I absolutely loved receiving this sample in my June box. My biggest requirements for any moisturize/makeup are SPF and as little oil as possible, and this one meets that! The formula wasn't too thick and definitely the opposite of greasy -- in fact, it had a matte-ifying effect upon my oily t-zone, which really sold me on the product. I'm greedily saving onto the last bit of what's in my sample tube so I can use it on an upcoming special occasion, since I use it like a primer or toner. (If it were a little less expensive, I'd probably spring for the full size!)4
Great Sunscreen and great moisturizer! Keeps my face smooth and protected while not appearing greasy!5
There wasn't enough of the sample for me to create an opinion about it. I know that we are given samples only, but I would have liked to try more of it, but I am not willing to purchase it to find out if I like it or not.3
I love that it's an all in one type of a product, but I like the sun to get my face still, I like using a lower spf.4
The best part of this lotion is the spf 50. It is so hard to find a good facial lotion with a high spf that doesn't make your face too greasy, but this product delivers. I will be using all summer long!4
