This bronzing serum may look like a sci-fi invention, but don’t be intimidated. The three-in-one primer, bronzer, and skin perfector addresses our three main concerns: oversized pores, unevenness, and lackluster skintone. Made with a triple helix of bronzing, highlighting, and illuminating pigments, the creamy formula has a mousse-like consistency, and is subtly laced with coppery shimmer. We love how it blends easily and dries to a matte finish. Plus, it keeps your skin’s oil levels in check, so your makeup doesn’t slide off midway through the day.
I have very fair skin and this product was just too dark for me. It looked unnatural and "made up" on my fair complexion. I think this could be an excellent product for those blessed with darker, less fair skin tones. Also, the product is very sparkly, which is pretty, but not professional. Even if it was light enough to go with my skin color I could not wear it to work. This product is definitely more for evenings and weekends.1
I saw this full-sized product in my Birchbox and was rather excited until I realized it's a bronzer. I am not one to tan, in fact, my skin is very fair and my sensitive skin burns in the sun. Though the packaging was definitely interesting and pretty neat to look at, it's not a product I could even attempt to use. I actually gave this to a girlfriend who is quite bronze and she adores it. It blends well into her skin and it gives her a slight shimmer. If I were darker-skinned, I would likely appreciate this product's quality.1
Oily skin and this product do not mix. My skin already has enough shine. It doesn't need this.1
This product is awful. It is extremely shimmery and I don't see how this can look good on someone's face. I think it would look good as a body lotion but not on the face.1
This is too wierd for a bronzer. I am going to stick to powder bronzers.1
This product had a lot of promise in the tube. I love Stila's products and own several, and was excited to see this full size product in my box. Sadly, I'm too pale and it turned too fake bake on me, though it would look amazing on light to medium and medium skin tones. The shimmer in it is pretty, and once I was used to it, I rather liked it (which is unusual for me). I think I would have been happier knowing it was THAT glittery going into it, though. Overall, not a bad product, primed well, bronzed well, shimmered nicely; but I am just too pale for this one.1
The glitter in the product is terrible! Totally ruined the product for me. :c( Also, I am very fair skinned and bronzers are hard to match to my skin tone.1
I think this bronzer is no different than bronzers I can get in drugstore. I HATE there is glitter in it, glitter does NOT hide imperfections, it HIGHLIGHTS them, and this bronzer makes my 12+ year old acne scares more visible. Its also way too orange and makes me look like Jersey Shore reject.1
I'm pretty fair skinned typically, but have gotten a little sun lately. This covered ok and didn't look horrible, but felt really heavy to me on made my face itch. I ended up taking it off after maybe an hour.1
Horrible product as far as color goes. I am fair skinned and this made me look like an oompa loompa and I hated the gold glitter that was left after application. Definitely not a product I'd use on my face and not sure it would be good anywhere else.1
