This new perfume has a storied pedigree. After reading The Book Of Lost Fragrances, a thriller that details the quest to locate a scent created in the days of Cleopatra, fragrance designer Frederick Bouchardy was inspired to bring the novel’s star scent to life. Even if thrillers aren’t your favorite literary genre, you’re sure to love the spellbinding blend of orange blossom, myrrh, and other exotic notes.
I LOVE this perfume! I am usually into more floral/clean laundry type scents (Light Blue, Pleasures, but this one really stole my heart. Kind of musky, kind of fruity, really lovely. I've already ordered a bottle and can't WAIT for it to come in the mail!5
I don't know what this perfume is going for in terms of scent, but I definitely didn't like it.1
A spicy scent that could be for both men and women. Although warm and pleasant it is too exotic for me. I prefer a less heady mix of green notes.3
I love this fragrance, it is a very sexy fragrance and ideal for evening wear.5
Smells so darn good! I can't stop smelling my wrist when I put it on. Sexy!5
My sample leaked so there was hardly any in it when it arrived. I think I like the scent tho and am considering buying it.4
When first applied, you may not love the scent...give it a few minutes. It somehow dries into a unique smell that could easily become a signature scent.4
As soon as I opened my Birchbox, I could smell this great scent! Unfortunately, I could already smell it because it had leaked and there wasn't anything left in the bottle. Still has a great smell! Just wish I could've used the sample.4
Joya is a really amazing fragrance with exotic feel to it. Love it !!!!!5
