This new perfume has a storied pedigree. After reading The Book Of Lost Fragrances, a thriller that details the quest to locate a scent created in the days of Cleopatra, fragrance designer Frederick Bouchardy was inspired to bring the novel’s star scent to life. Even if thrillers aren’t your favorite literary genre, you’re sure to love the spellbinding blend of orange blossom, myrrh, and other exotic notes.
When I got this product it had leaked all over my other products. Luckily I was still able to use my other samples.1
Didn't like the scent at all! I'm more of a fruity scent girl1
So pretty and feminine...love the mix between soapy clean and floral. Really intoxicating!4
this was nice at application...but as it wears down it's a bit too 'earthy' for me. Definitely has staying power.2
The smell is a little too sweet for me, but I personally really like more mild perfumes.4
I really liked the smell of this perfume. It has a great orange smell and a little muskiness to it.4
Wow! This is usually not my kind of scent. I prefer a light clean floral. But this was just .. delicious. I love the way it smells on me. Not the usual summer scent but definitely a mind blower4
From the moment I tried this scent, I knew it was for me! It smells like someone dried the freshly cleaned laundry near a camp fire...so smokey and sexy but clean and pleasant.5
At first smell, I thought I liked the scent, then it waned on me. It isn't that it was unpleasant, just somewhat cheap smelling once the initial notes started to break down. Not a lot of depth to it in terms of quality. Kind of reminds me of those scented aroma oils you buy at the health food stores. I do like the roller application.2
This is something I would never wear. I prefer more light floral scents. To me this is what a man would wear. It's more of a musk.2
