This new perfume has a storied pedigree. After reading The Book Of Lost Fragrances, a thriller that details the quest to locate a scent created in the days of Cleopatra, fragrance designer Frederick Bouchardy was inspired to bring the novel’s star scent to life. Even if thrillers aren’t your favorite literary genre, you’re sure to love the spellbinding blend of orange blossom, myrrh, and other exotic notes.
This smells amazing! It is strong though, so you only need a little bit.5
I dont normally splurge on perfumes so when this was in my box i got excited to try it. However I still cant decide if i like the scent, it's kind of musky which gives off kind of a masculine vibe, but i like the subtle orange scent. Still not that sure.3
Joya Ames Soeures Parfum was just my thing. I tried a vial sample that I received in my birchbox. Just not for me...1
Before putting it on it smelled nice, so I gave it a try. Even applying a minimal amount, it was too strong and I did not enjoy the scent at all. I washed it off of my skin immediately!2
Not sure how I feel. Sometimes the scent is intoxicating and other times obnoxious.3
I usually throw away perfume samples. (1) They're impossible to open without spilling everywhere. (2) I never like the perfumes. This was a DOUBLE WIN! I adored the little roll-on bottle. So cute, so tiny, that despite myself I opened it and put it on my wrist. Then spent the rest of the morning thinking, "Mmm, what's that lovely scent?" Before remembering the perfume. The next morning I picked up the bottle, read all the info, realized I'd never heard of this brand, and put it on both wrists. LOVE IT! It's floral, gentle, smells like sunshine in a garden instead of smelling like perfume. And it's grown-up, not girly. Can't believe I'm saying this, but I'll be buying the full size!!5
Has a very unusual scent, and I can't help but liking it.3
Love the size of the bottle - perfect for your purse! The smell was not for me but would not stop me from trying other products by the same company.2
Absolutely loved this fragrance and so did my husband. He even liked to put it on so I would definitely say that this scent is unisex. I am definitely going to purchase.5
I'm still not sure if I love this scent or if I'm not quite into it, but it's quite fascinating. It lasted a very long time, and I liked that it had just a touch of muskiness to it. On me, it wasn't very feminine, but that gave it a lot of appeal. I'm pretty sure I'm going to buy this for the fall (once my summer fragrance runs out).3
