Romano Ricci, the self-described offbeat dandy of the perfume world, only used one element—Cetalox—to create this minimalist perfume. Even if you've never heard of it, you've undoubtedly picked up its scent. Used as a back note in thousands of fragrances, Cetalox (a synthetic substitute for grey amber) takes center stage in Not a Perfume. The result is elegant, pure, spicy, and completely allergen-free.
I'm obsessed with this scent. I received it in my January Birchbox and was devastated when the bottle was empty. It is rather pricey but I had to have it so I bought the full size and I'm so glad that I did!5
I receive compliments every time I wear this fragrance. It is my favorite! Thank you birch box for introducing me!5
I LOVE this perfume. I wish it weren't so expensive, but it's worth splurging on. I just had to buy the full size.5
After receiving the sample, I had to buy the full size! I'm obsessed and I'm saving the last drop from my sample until my full size bottle arrives!5
I was so confused when I received this in my sample box as the "not a perfume" name threw me off. All I can say is 5 STARS. Such a different and amazing scent. My only complaint is the sample was too small. I will be purchasing ASAP!!5
Finally it has arrived! No scent has ever gotten me more compliments! A little spicy, a little floral, nice & distinguished, a MUST have! it's strong but not overpowering.5
This fragrance is one of my favorite. It is very difficult to get your hands on. I like the way it smells so fresh and clean.I actually had many compliments on it. I love it!5
I get more compliments on this perfume, or non perfume all the time. I love it, it is fresh and light and not overpowering.5
I received this sample in my December birch box and I absolutely love the scent, it's so subtle and fresh, plus my boyfriend loved it which made it even better! Can't wait to buy the full size product.5
I received a six month subscription for Christmas from my son. I got my first box and fell in love with almost everything, but this was a craving. Of course it's not exactly reasonably prices. Granted, it's a lot of money for a spray cologne versus a perfume. I didn't care. Had to have it. Yes, it was that addictive. There are very few perfumes that I like. Most cause me to have a headache, so I've been using Philosyphy products that female nurses and doctors use. The cost difference is substantial, but I can guarantee I will continue buying this product. I think the key is the one note scents. My only gripe is I would love to have the scented lotion because I like to layer.5
