Romano Ricci, the self-described offbeat dandy of the perfume world, only used one element—Cetalox—to create this minimalist perfume. Even if you've never heard of it, you've undoubtedly picked up its scent. Used as a back note in thousands of fragrances, Cetalox (a synthetic substitute for grey amber) takes center stage in Not a Perfume. The result is elegant, pure, spicy, and completely allergen-free.
I'm sure the idea he was going for here was a very light scent, but unfortunately it doesn't smell like much of anything ON you after about 30 minutes.1

Very unique scent, I can definitely say it's something different from all the other fragrances I use! It's not something I would use every day, but I like it and would probably buy it if it were a bit less expensive. I just didn't love it enough to spend $90 on the full size product.5
