Romano Ricci, the self-described offbeat dandy of the perfume world, only used one element—Cetalox—to create this minimalist perfume. Even if you've never heard of it, you've undoubtedly picked up its scent. Used as a back note in thousands of fragrances, Cetalox (a synthetic substitute for grey amber) takes center stage in Not a Perfume. The result is elegant, pure, spicy, and completely allergen-free.
The scent is nothing special. I'm not even going to use the rest of the sample. I didn't like it at all.1
Love this fragrance. It has a light touch with a bit of mystery . My daughter does not wear fragrance, but really liked the sample as well.5
I love this scent the minute I tried it. It is a light scent and remind me of the perfume called Light Blue (don't know the maker)...Love it! Definitely will buy.5
Loved the different smell of this perfume. Probably would buy if it wasn't so expensive!!5
love the smell :) would def recommend, too pricy for myself unfortunately5
I liked this scent overall. It's simple yet elegant in concept. It's great for work because it's not overwhelming. I will likely prefer wearing this in the fall due to the deeper note. A bit pricier than my normal perfume budget4
I know scents are a very personal thing. I didn't dislike this one. But I didn't like it either. I prefer light citrus scents, or a warm vanilla, or Amber.
Thanks for letting me try it!
I was enjoying this scent as much as most others, until my husband walked up one day and said, "You smell REALLY good! What is that?" My response? "It's Not a Perfume." Him: "Then what is it?" Me: "A perfume." Perfect. Even after that exchange, each time he smells it on me, he loves it. It has a nice, light scent that hits all the right notes.5
I knew I was going to buy this fragrance when I smelled it.
AND I JUST DID. it is so lovely, i am a fan.
If you're into this scent, you'll love it. If u aren't, you will hate it. It's like people feel about cilantro or licorice Love it or hate it. No in between.1
